Heaven on Earth

This hotel is one of the most special places we’ve ever stayed. Heavenly views, extremely comfortable bedding and furniture, everything you’d need in the kitchen, incredible service, gorgeous grounds, and the food you can get delivered is just exceptional (get the ceviche!). This is possibly the most amazing property I have ever had the luck to stumble upon om Expedia. The setting and location offers a 9ne in a lifetime opportunity to relax, reset, and enjoy Baja truly 'off the Grid.' Highly recommended to laid back adventurous individuals who love both nature and comfort. Cant wait to return.

Jose and Kristina were incredible! So responsive, flexible and helpful! The Avacadome was literally perfect for what we were looking for. Very cozy and perfect for a long or short stay. The view from the patio was gorgeous and the surrounding nature is beautiful! The property is also gated so it felt very safe. The only thing that bothered me was another person parking their trailor in the spot that I was instructed to park in. This had nothing to do with the owners though and just a lack of consideration from the neighboring guests.

Igor was above in beyond in both making sure everyone was aware of the more primitive site,l (e.g., solar power), everyone’s needs were taken care of, and offered amazing stories. If you opt for paying for his art class for children, it was engaging and museum quality. If you opt for paying for breakfast, George cooked a simple breakfast but which included exotic fruits and bacon, and washed the dishes, leaving us free to go enjoy the day. Great venue for weddings or family reunions.

Our stay at this hidden gem in La Bufadora, Baja, Mexico, was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in the stunning beauty of the location and the exceptional hospitality provided by our gracious host, Igor. The panoramic views from this property were nothing short of breathtaking. With 360-degree vistas of the vast ocean stretching as far as the eye could see, we felt like we were in our own private paradise. The design of the place was not only cool and contemporary but also enhanced the natural beauty of the surroundings, seamlessly blending in with the landscape. One of the highlights of our stay was the immense balcony that overlooked the ocean. It was the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee as the sun painted the sky with hues of orange and pink. As dog lovers, we were thrilled to find that the accommodation was dog-friendly. Our beloved bulldog Pepa was able to join us on this unforgettable journey, making the experience even more special. The presence of hiking trails right from the doorstep was a pleasant surprise. Exploring the rugged terrain and encountering the local rocks and caves with fresh sea salt added a sense of adventure to our stay. But perhaps the most awe-inspiring feature was the massive tide pools that invited us for a refreshing swim. These natural pools were like hidden treasures, offering a unique way to connect with the ocean in a tranquil and rejuvenating setting.

Beautiful retreat

Everything was excellent. We loved the little college. It had everythimg we needed. The host Sarah was very friendly & accommodating. The views were breathtaking. It was a nice place to relax.

It was such a peaceful getaway because the property had amazing views and hiking trails right out the front door. We never even saw anyone unless we headed into town. Besides the hot water, strong internet, and electricity - we truly felt off the grid.

Staying at this property was a dream. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The host was very attentive when we reached out for directions. He made extremely easy to get there. Once we arrived the property and location were just ecstatic. We had a 180 degree view of the ocean and “la bufadora”! The home had everything needed to have the perfect stay. From dishes, cookware and appliances for a nice romantic dinner as we gazed out at the stars above to the beautiful bathrooms and bedrooms. I dream of returning very soon and staying longer for a more relaxing and happy time. Oh and I can’t forget about the amazing trails the terrain brings. Hiking was the cherry on top to the perfect stay!

Off the Grid Review

This property is a real get away destination!! I spent a couple of days there with a relative and and the comfort and peaceful view of the Mirador bedroom is something that I cant compare to any other place I haver ever visited. As the name of the place perfectly describes its location, it is really off the grid!! The place is ideal for groups who love the outdoor and the ocean setting, the sunset cant be matched from the cliff its on, with nothing else in front of you to obstruck the view simply amazing view. Its so beautifully that if you plan to spend a week or weekend with a significant other. You wont be disappointed!! its not a place to watch T.V., you can do that at home. This place is to be enjoyed by its increadable view. It has my star rating off the chart, better yet Off the Grid Rating from me. Not to mention the staff is very accommodating and definitely on top of it when it comes to communication, since its off the grid, "maps" Pay close attention to the detailed instructions to this adventure of a destination. The romantic adventure is definitely worth it!!! Special thanks to Igor for the guidance and for making this a unforgettable experience. 10 Star!!!
