Wonderful stay
We had 8 wonderful days at this large house with spectacular views over Doubtless Bay. It has plenty of room for everyone as well as a separate downstairs apartment with lounge/kitchenette and bathroom. Will definitely be looking to book again at some point. The only think it needs are some more outdoor chairs on the expansive deck. Even a few fold outs would be good as we couldn't all fit outside which was a shame

Family Holiday
Great spot for the family get together. 3 generations under the one roof. Day trip to Cape Reinga, day trip to Paihia and Waitangi, Karikari Peninsula, lots of great beaches. Hope to be back soon!

Clean, comfy, amazing view. Good parking space for the boat. Great lawn for frizbee and backyard cricket. Close to shops. Highly recommend. We'll be rebooking!!

Great Home With Great Views!
We loved this huge home - had everything we could ever need to enjoy Cable Bay, particularly in the kitchen. It was great to be able to prepare home-cooked meals again after four months on cruise ships and in hotels. Wi-Fi was excellent! We saw 14 kite surfers in the bay one day - mesmerizing. We had on small problem the first day, and a call to David fixed it immediately. We would like to return to Doubtless Views for a longer stay in the future!

Amazing Property
What an amazing house to stay in, particularly through a weather storm!! The house was spacious, beds amazingly comfortable and there is plenty of room everywhere. David is a great host and met us on site when we arrived a really lovely person to deal with and nothing is too much bother for him. The property is a very short drive to the beach and local four square supermarket, butchery and bakery and very quiet. You do need to take all of your food essentials if you are planning on eating in but that’s explained in the booking details.

The house was perfect for what we needed. Our group of age range 0-40 had everything we wanted and more with this stay. Beautiful views to relax and beaches nearby to venture to. We have already re-booked again for the end of the year.

Nice house and lovely views
Overall the house was good, very comfortable beds and pillows. The downstairs apartment smelt damp, there was a dehumidifier but that was a bit noisey to run at night so wouldn't book if we had to use this room again. The house was surface clean but the kitchen cupboards and drawers and walk in wardrobe shelves needed a clean before we could put anything away. Good communication from the manager, he was very accomodating and helpful.

Spacious accommodation with amazing biew
We had a very comfortable stay in this well-designed and spacious house. It was light & airy & warm. It’s located toward the end of an unsealed Rd, along a ridge. There is easy access to the property & front door & parking is convenient with plenty of room to turn. The property is high upon the hills above Cable Bay providing a wonderful view. We had a small issue during our stay, that David, the manager dealt with promptly, which we really appreciated.

Fantastic views, perfect Bach for the extended family.
Great views over doubtless bay, and the Bach had everything we needed. The kids loved running around the large garden. The only small criticism were the water tanks were empty on arrival which was an inconvenience, the issue however was resolved quickly by the property manager. We’d love to stay again if we returned to the area.

Great property overall but lacking few amenities
The property is as accurate as its listing. Spacious, rustic with a fantastic view. The yard was magnificent and befitting of an aristocrat. Manager David was responsive and pleasure to deal with. One minor issue was as Davide had warned, the house had very bare essentials in terms of toiletries, cooking condiments, paper towels, napkins and even garbage bags. And since there are very few restaurants in the area you would absolutely need these items in the long run, so be sure to hit the local market and stock up on these essentials before checking in. Overall, a great property and stay.
