"Our stay at the CBR Boutique Hotel was perfect! The hotel is centrally located in a small shopping area and made finding restaurants nearby and walking around to the sights of Coimbra a breeze. The rooms were clean and super comfortable and we loved the charming library motif. The staff was very attentive and helpful with suggestions of what to do in the area. They even made sure our luggage made it to our room as we arrived early before check in time. The breakfast was simple, but everything was fresh and tasty. We especially loved the nice touch of the hotel putting out cakes and cookies starting in the afternoon through to the evening in case we wanted an after dinner treat. I would definitely stay at the CBR Boutique hotel again if traveling to Coimbra! "

Unfortunately there is a bar not too far from this hotel that kept patrons pretty loud until late in the evening drinking and shouting on the street while trying to sleep. Overall the hotel was in a great location to the university of Coimbra and uphill from the downtown city center."
