"Favorite part of rental is secure gated backyard so dogs were contained and within sight while we were on the dock. And we caught a fish! Everything others say is true about this place. Enjoyed many local forest preserves to hike. Definitely would return"

"The house was absolutely perfect. We stayed for a long weekend over the 4th of July holiday with three other families. We were close enough to amenities if/when we needed them, but had absolutely no reasons to leave the property - so much to do for everyone. The owner was wonderful to engage with, he was even able to supply wheelchair ramps to make the home more assessable for someone in our group who has a disability. We are already talking about booking again next year!"

We didn’t want a long drive home after dinner and wanted to visit the lovely Beloit Farmers’ Market the next day. This was a comfortable place to retreat and regroup. We particularly enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the deck the next morning. Very clean, good communication with host. "
