Had a wonderful time staying here and would happily return.
Had a wonderful time staying here and would happily return. Cottage has all you would need and lots of little touches that made it even easier and comfortable during our stay. Owner was really helpful and available for any queries (or key emergencies!) and clearly wants her guests to have a good stay. Area is fantastic to explore and despite the rain on the weekend, we enjoyed our visit to this lovely part of the country! Thank you

A lovely, very well equipped, fab cottage.
A lovely, very well equipped, fab cottage. The dogs loved the secure garden backing onto a field where they could run and play. Dog towels, toys and even agility equipment available to use.Lots of information about all the walks nearby which we really enjoyed. Supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, in nearby Buxton. A great base for discovering the Peak district. Very comfy bed and great shower. A real home from home.

This was my second visit to this cottage as it ticks all my boxes.
This was my second visit to this cottage as it ticks all my boxes. The weather was awful all week (think sleet, hail, heavy rain, high winds) so me and the dogs didnt get to go out and about much but fortunately the cottage is so warm and cosy and well equipped that I was quite happy to stay indoors. There are plenty of footpaths to choose from in the village and further afield the Monsal Trail, Millers Dale and Chee Dale are all worth exploring.

We had a wonderful stay at Meadow View.
We had a wonderful stay at Meadow View. The house is well appointed and particularly well equipped (oil, sauce, foil etc in the kitchen cupboards, dog blankets, bags and bowls etc). The owners were helpful and the neighbours were friendly. Peak Dale is a great base from which to explore the area and our young children loved the playground just around the corner. We would definitely book Meadow View again.

Lovely cottage inside.
Lovely cottage inside. Not quite what I was expecting outside. However, verything you could possibly need inside, especially for dogs and spotlessly clean and comfortable. Will definately go again.

Had a great 4 nights at Meadow View with excellent weather as an added bonus.
Had a great 4 nights at Meadow View with excellent weather as an added bonus. I went with my 2 dogs and we had lovely walks at Millers Dale and Buxton Country Park as well as the local footpaths (having that field outside the back gate is extremely handy). I also took my bike and cycled the Monsal Trail of which there were amazing views. The cottage is well catered for whether your a party of adults, kids or canines.
I did mark down for lack of local amenities as there is no shop or pub within walking distance but Buxton itself is only a 10 minute car drive away. It's not something which personally affected me but other holidaymakers may want these things.
Overall we had an excellent stay and i'll definitely be going again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.
Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Clean comfortable and extremely homely. The frontage lets down the ideal ness of inside. The meadow on the back was an absolute godsend for ours dogs being able to run free and tire themselves out. The log fire added to the charm and homeliness on an evening. We didn’t venture anywhere mainly due to the weather but this didn’t spoil a relaxing chilled out break. The kitchen and layout second to none. Very pet friendly ( the owners have thought of everything to make their guests welcome) Would definitely visit again ?
