"This was such a beautiful hotel. We have gone to Johnson City a few times as our son will start school there in the fall. We have stayed at other franchise branded hotels, such as Hilton and Marriott and this one far surpassed it. A place this grand would be awesome for a reception and a special event. There’s a cute boutique downstairs by the spa that has dresses that are actually affordable and cute. We will stay there again. We loved the vibe of this place."

"Beautiful location and very nice hotel. My room was not ready at check-in time so the young lady at the front desk was kind enough to put me into a different room. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open nor was it open the following day which is not convenient at all for guests. The hot water was not working in the bathroom and apparently there were a few complaints from other guests as well. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable."

"This property is not what the pictures show! Those photos must be decades old! It is not a bright blue fresh painted place. It is not well-maintained. When we pulled in my kid screamed "Bates Motel!" The exterior was not maintained at all. It had weathered and gray boards with mold all over. We wanted a lodge vibe while in the mountains, but I could have stayed in a nicer hotel for the money I spent here! The hall and stairs and room carpet were nasty and smelled. My bathroom smelled like urine. The sofa had some kind of stain on it. The top ledge of the sofa and cushions and the blanket for the pull-out were covered in dust and kicked up everywhere when we sat down and used the blanket. Window air conditioner and was loud. Gross. Did not feel safe here at all. They said they could not refund my money."

"Clean room, well appointed, friendly staff, close to dining and shops. However, absolutely no WiFi in our room or another room we reserved for family members. While WiFi existed in the lobby area, it was totally inaccessible from your room. Staff stated WiFi was spotty and the issues were related to their provider and network. Rooms were advertised to be WiFi ready but are not as of this review. Absence of WiFi availability distracted from our overall stay at this location."
