"Stayed for 2 weeks in this lovely apartment- part of a classic French property with a garden and private pool. Although secluded the property is less than 10 minutes drive to Brantome with its many good restaurants and market. Some fine walks in the local area as well. Our hosts, Sandra and Alun, were very helpful about places to visit and great company over a glass or two of wine. We cannot recommend this property or location highly enough."

"I would like to thank the owner, Florian for giving us the opportunity to stay at his amazing property near Busserolles. The photographs of the property are a good representation of what is on offer here. We really did have our own lake and orchard set in beautiful surroundings. Each morning we would walk into the orchard and pick our own fruit from the trees including, peaches, pears, apples, grapes, blackcurrents. "Ester’s place is perfect. Lovely spacey accommodation with everything you need. The pool was a real highlight. Never crowded. Kids loved it. Boulangerie is literally a 30 second walk from the accommodation. There is a bar just a few mins walk away too. The area is beautiful with lots to do. We enjoyed visiting different lakes for swims and boat rides. Ester was the perfect host. We made eight stops throughout our France trip this year and Ester’s place was our absolute favourite."

"Nous avons pu profiter des installations des gîte d’Ester. Sa gentillesse et son écoute nous ont permis de passer de bons moment. Tout est joliment pensé et bien entretenu. Le petit déjeuner est bon et copieux. Le site est parfait, au cœur d’un joli village plein de charme avec une boulangerie et un restaurant à quelques mètres. Nous recommandons à 100% les gîtes d’Esther pour y passer de bons moments. Nous n’avons pas tester la piscine compte tenu de la météo mais elle était parfaitement...

"Appartement très propre, fonctionnel, bien entretenu, bien aménagé. Super déco, beaucoup de charme. Accueil au top avec lits faits, serviettes préparées, panier d’accueil. Logement très bien situé, supérette et boulangeries à deux pas. Connexion internet wifi, Netflix. Pas de place de parking dédié mais places très proches. Super séjour ! A recommander à 200%. "This is a very basic property that I would describe as one step above camping. It is all on one level with easy parking and very clean. The range top ran on propane. The heat takes hours to warm the room and in March the room was uncomfortably cold for the first 8 hours of our stay. After that, it was comfortable and we even had to turn the heat down. The owner, Ester, is Dutch, speaks fluent English, and is very accommodating. The town only has about 600 people and there is really nothing...

"Très bon séjour. Propriétaire accueillant, généreux, attentif à notre bien-être, discret et disponible... Forêt, longues promenades et GR36 aux pieds du gîte. Il est possible d'observer les chevreuils dans le domaine ; instants très appréciés des petits et grands. Piscine couverte et accessible quand nous le voulions. Jolie région. Amoureux de canoë (locations à5 min du gîte sur la Dronne), vous allez apprécier d'autant plus ! Un grand merci pour cette semaine ressourçante."

"Perfect paradise for a bohemian break . Quirky cottage in a quiet corner of beautiful rural France . Directions a little difficult to follow but the final discovery worth the search ! Staircase to the bedroom balcony makes a bathroom trip in the depths of night a precarious adventure but the overall ambience and amenities are delicious . Superbly comfy sofas and French scrabble makes the evenings simple fly by ."
