"Colton Loft was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities that one would wish, situated in a beautiful quiet village with the helpful host living just next door. The 3 local pubs Plum and Partridge, Carlton Inn and the Fauconberg were all very good. Exploring York was also easy with the use of the excellent Rawcliff Bar park and ride."

"A lovely little property, tucked out of the way 15 minutes walk from one of the gates to the city of York. We parked the car and then left it there. There were local buses but we didn't feel the need to use them. A very modern downstairs bathroom. The stairs were narrow but were aware of this in the comprehensive details. "Location and service was excellent. Valet Parking was great, £25 for 24 hrs is cheaper than the nearest pay and display. We arrived really early and they had a room ready and offered early check in which was very handy for us. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and it was lovely. The downside is a very hard bed and no air con. "
