"Main areas of the property have undergone renovation but the apartments are very dated and in dire need of renovation and the drain in toilet was a bit smelly. However it did not put us off. Facilities are good, tv, fully equipped kitchen although dishwasher was broken, washing machine and dryer, icy cold aircon, beds were fairly comfy, balcony, didn’t use the pool but it looked good although small, gym has good selection of equipment. Note the carpark is an extra $20 per night and spaces are limited due to a lot of the spaces reserved for the private residences. There is also a $250 security deposit to pay on checkin. It’s a weird set up having no reception area, check in is via the convenience shop Nextdoor so make sure you read you confirmation email in advance for instructions. Also the main entrance doors are locked from 7pm so access in and out is through the lower carpark using your room card (there is pedestrian gate). Location wise is good about 15min walk to city or can catch the red cat nearby. Overall it wasn’t a bad stay and we’d consider staying again. "
"A great resting place for my needs. Most of the staff were super helpful and nice except for one man who checked in.. it took a super long time, and he was pretty void of manners."
"Great location in Scarborough.
Difficult to access with a car although parking is available for a fee.
Room was good although aircon difficult to use. Staff were very efficient in helping."
"A large portion of this hotel's business seems to be fly in fly out workers and as such they get priority. We were told to turn down our television at 8 pm when it wasn't overly loud. We didn't know there were FIFO workers sleeping next door. As mentioned in other reviews the sound proofing in the rooms is poor. At 1.50 am I was awakened by the alarm in the room next door. For the next 40 minutes this person showered and got ready for work. I went and asked the night manager to speak to them about the noise but he didn't. At 2.30 am they left their room and not quietly. I went out to see numerous Air Asia staff leaving for work, they made very little effort to be quiet. I went and asked the night manager to speak to them about how noisy they were but he just looked at me confused. At 3.30 am I was again woken up by a lot of noise next door. I got up to find two staff cleaning the room. When I enquired why they said guests were arriving soon to check in. It seems FIFO workers check out around 2.30 am and others check in around 4 am. If you are a fan of sleeping at night this may be difficult.
The rooms are very dated and basic and the bed we had was terrible, not secured to the wall so it moved. When you sat on it, it sagged badly.
They don't advertise it but when we arrived we were told they don't clean / make up the rooms unless you specifically request it."
"Clean Room , stayed in level 5 , was such a perfect night the aircon was a hit & miss as it kept coming and going but other than that the breakfast was great"
