"It was wonderful! Loved the apt, it was huge!! We stayed in the 4 bedroom apt and there were only 3 of us! So much room, you can sleep 18-20 people in this 2 story apt. The tv satellite wasn't always working and the showers were not the best, seemed like the drains were backed up and needed cleaned so water would over flow. It has a washer but no dryer....no one in the office knew how to work the machine, I had to figure it out on my own :(
It was close enough to the Royal Mile, Princess...

The Hoxton Edinburgh
10/10 Excellent
"Staff is great close to old town and conveniently close to tram."

Point A Edinburgh Haymarket
10/10 Excellent
"The room was very clean and comfortable. All those small this does have air-conditioning nice shower, nice room lighting and the windows had appropriate light blocking shades - which for anyone in the US who is not used to a 1030 or 11 o’clock summer sunset, those were so valuable. The breakfast is extra but if you’re planning to get up and get out earlier than the local coffee shops open around 8:00 or 9:00, then worth it! The staff was super lovely. We even had our room ready a bit early and while they understandably can’t guarantee that each time we were so thankful and blessed to be able to crash after a very, very long flight. If you’re in the US, this is one or two steps above nicer Holiday Inn."

Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club
8/10 Good
"This was a pleasant stay, though a few downsides, which unfortunately were the main memory from our stay. Breakfast food was very good, both the omlette and the full cooked option, but it was noticed that some areas of the breakfast room were attended to by more staff and had more coverage than others and one morning we asked for extra tea, it never arrived. Reception staff were generally helpful, especially Collette, who was great. The food and waiting staff in the Brasserie were excellent. However, room supplies/top-ups needed to be requested for both nights of our stay as they were insufficient and the quality of the toiletries disappointed. Having travelled around Scotland for this holiday and stayed in a number of other hotels immediately before and after Dalmahoy, I can't really complain about it, it was comfortable and big, but we stayed in other properties in Scotland (and near golf courses) and feel by comparison that this just wasn't 5* in terms of value for money. It just felt not so generous and a bit taken-for-granted which is not what you were expecting when you first drive up to the building, If we hadn't had other places to immediately compare it to, I would possibly have rated it more highly."

Market Street Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"If you are a boutique hotel person, you will love this place! It is directly across the street from the Waverly Train station so no cab/Uber needed. You walk in the door and are directed to the 7th floor (us by the ever helpful Andre-Thank-you!) to check in and are greeted with champagne on your arrival by the super nice and helpful staff. This also allows you to see where the optional included breakfast will be (with all wonderful servers, but a special thank-you to Jakub for his extra time and attention!) and the afternoon/evening small plates and bar are located. There is a nice terrace overlooking the city for evening drinks with a beautiful view (open to the public so you may need reservations on really nice evenings). We stayed in a single handicap room, which could use a mirror near an outlet for hair styling but was otherwise good. We also stayed 4 nights in the larger suite room, which had everything we needed. There are complementary beverages and snacks in the room and nice shower products. The hotel is in easy walking distance to both the old and new town areas and the Princess Street Park. We really enjoyed our stay here and actually cancelled our airport hotel to stay here again before we left. Thank-you to all of you, we really enjoyed our stay-and we are still rooting for Scotland in the cup!!!!!"

Holiday Inn Edinburgh Zoo by IHG
8/10 Good
"The room was nice and comfy for the 3 of us. Toilet lacked more toilet roll for the amount of people in the room. And we did find a pill and a sock under kne of the beds, so the cleaning should be taking care of a little more. But overall very nice, staff was so helpful and very kind and made our stay very very pleasant. Also not so far from the city centre of Edinburgh as you have a lot of buses to take you there."

Leonardo Royal Hotel Edinburgh
8/10 Good
"Clean room, helpful staff, very close proximity to weaverly station which was very helpful to us, very short walking distance to famous royal mile, close to major attractions and walking distance to city center. Enjoyed the room, free water, tea and coffee in the room."

"NO AC, BUT HOTEL IS AWESOME"

ibis Edinburgh Centre South Bridge - Royal Mile
10/10 Excellent
"Staff is friendly, breakfast was awesome ., towels are clean and available anytime you want. The downside of the room we had: limited space for our staff, small table but it’s manageable."

Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by The Unlimited Collection
10/10 Excellent
"Had a view of the old town overlooking Edinburgh Castle and the Cook monument. Access to Tram a few yards away and next door to Marks & Spencer. If you have a car there is no lot at the hotel but why offer a great discount code to Q-park, which is a 10 min walk from Hotel. It's not a bad walk; probably typical in any large European city. It is a good value. Get the breakfast it's a very ample buffet."
