"We meet our cousins there to celebrate and birthday and 35th wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The complimentary wine tasting was fun and educational and the wines were superb. Great food and nice relaxing, quiet atmosphere. We really enjoyed the hosts."
"Awful place to stay. Dirty, poor management, checked out early and they didn’t know how to give a refund. Still haven’t received the refund. Wanted my husband to call the manager to figure it out himself. "

Burlington is a very small town with the biggest chain stores being Safeway and Dollar General. There are some nice little local owned stores in the old downtown area on 14th street. The Dish Room restaurant has excellent food.

"Excellent stay! I stayed in room 204 and it was very clean and well maintained. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe, the parking lot was well lit. I didn’t have any issue with highway noise coming in.
With it being so hot outside, I was worried the older cooling unit wouldn’t be able to keep up, but it was great. Bed was very comfortable and all the linens were very clean. The room had plenty of outlets and a mini fridge which was a plus.
The breakfast was what you’d expect, waffle iron, bagels, yogurt, fruit, cereal etc. The dining room was kept very clean and the manager? Or owner? was present most of my stay and checked regularly that food was stocked. Everyone I encountered was very pleasant. I’d definitely stay here again."
"If they fixed up the outside signage they could raise their rates. The rooms are outstanding. Well maintained. Great and abundant towels. Fantastic water pressure. A+. I highly recommend it. "
"This is a stunning property. Professional 5 star style accommodations. Every corner of this property oozes quality! This is a must stop and stay venue!! "
