"We stayed two nights had two rooms, asked if we could have tea and coffee as we was sitting in garden room, told no unless we had breakfast, we was told to bring tea/coffee down from our rooms!! We said not it was a health and safety issue, they could have given us tea and coffee free, premier inn do!!!"

"It was short walk from the train station and like 50 minutes from London. The restaurant in the hotel is pretty good and the bus to colchester city center is pretty good. The hotel was clean and check out was pretty easy as well."

"Charming hotel which is close to the train station & even closer to the castle as was staying to go to the festival. Breakfast was great & the bed was comfy. Would stay again if in the area. The staff are lovely too."
