The room was great and breakfast was good. However, the location is suboptimal - quite far from downtown (about 20m drive) and far from most restaurants. It's quite inconvenient. The service was good, but I've had much better service at other similarly priced 5-star hotels - it could've been 1 or 2 notches better. It's also suboptimal that the gym isn't open 24/7. Overall, the stay was reasonable but I'd only recommend this hotel for a business trip.

Wow! What a stay… having stayed and tried numerous hotels in Dubai, this by far exceeds them all, given the first class service experience. Fantastic team members - with so much warmth and positivity. The rooms are old school luxury, large, welcoming and spacious - with balconies to chill out. Breakfast was quality and ample choices, from healthy through to indulgent, and variety of cuisines. The first hotel I’ll look to return to in Dubai.

Raffles Dubai is located in a quiet area away from the noisy Dubai down town. The hotel area has the advantage of being a part of the Wafi mall where there are lots of shopping and restaurant options within a few-minutes’ walking distance. Although the rooms are spacious and comfortable their rates are quite expensive and need to be revised especially that the hotel rooms apparently have not been renewed/redesigned/redecorated for a long time.

The whole pool area has just reopened after a complete refurb. Redesign of the seating areas has made a huge improvement and complete re- tile of the pool and surrounding area.

It all starts at reception.
The hotel just from outside has the wow factor, reception was smooth, friendly & quick. Taken to room by porter who explained how everything worked in the room. The room was large and in excellent condition - all quality furnishings and well thought out with the decor. Housekeeping was excellent and they were well aware how the occupants used the room. The staff in all areas were excellent - friendly, wanting to help and you could see they loved their job.

The Raffles experience was exceptional from arrival to departure. The staff are polite, friendly and engaging at all times. Whilst some of the dining and cocktail bar facilities were closed for refurbishment this had no effect on our experience. The Italian restaurant was first class with excellent staff and amazing food. I particularly recommend the solo bruschetta which is a culinary masterpiece. Five stars all round for Raffles

Wonderful stay. Breakfast was phenomenal. We also had the club lounge access which allowed us to have afternoon tea and a few cocktails. Throughly recommend. Only 15 mins from airport too and another 15mins to the center. Comfortable beds and spotlessly clean.

Great stay overall
This was our first stay at Raffles, our room was a great size, the hotel is close to a metro station but there isnt much else around. We stayed in a club room, so had afternoon tea and canapes in the evening which is very handy. You do however feel that the club staff don't want you to be there outside of these times despite the club open for guests until 10pm. Kids are seated upstairs in the club which i think is a great idea and makes things more comfortable for guests of all ages! Breakfast was good and there were a great choice of dishes, including a crepe station and an egg station. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, but felt that perhaps some of the touches and level of service that you get in other 5 star hotels in Dubai are lacking here.
