Hi,
I hope everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend. Of course, I would like to start off with the home is beautiful. Location is perfect. Home was clean as expected, inside and outside. Checking in and out was perfect, smooth, and as easy as it gets. Amber was very quick to respond and very helpful and friendly.
Now to the huge issue, that I’ve thankfully never had to experience in my life, let alone while on vacation. On Sunday evening around 6pm my uncle noticed the toilet was not flushing and the water was going up, he tried to plunge the water back down but was unsuccessful. He notified me right of way and we began to try and plunge more but water started to come out on its own. We have a plumber in the family and asked for his help. Water kept coming out on its own, so he checked the main sewer out in the parking lot, and he noticed the water was already backed up. He let us know to immediately to stop all water from being used into the sinks, toilets, showers so that more water/poop and pee wouldn’t continue leaking out of the bottom bathroom toilet. So, from 6pm on Sunday until we left no water was used at all.
We notified Amber of the situation, and she sent a maintenance worker to help fix the issue. He did tell us to stop running the water. He arrived around 7pm, he was not successful since he only had a 50ft snake. A plumber was then called, and he arrived around 10pm with a much longer/heavy duty snake but was also unsuccessful.
