"A very good hotel in Sandakan, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. We had dinner at the Poolside restaurant and the food was amazing (as were the staff). The gym was well equipped, and the rooms comfortable with good bedding. I wouldn’t stay anywhere definitely stay here again"

"Room was great - we had a junior suite with balcony which overlooked the forrest and the pool. No cushions on sunbeds on balcony but we managed. Great food and lovely staff. Not much to do in local area but would use hotel again as a 1 night stop over to somewhere else."

"This hotel did the job for one night before I joined a tour. The staff were very friendly, my suitcase had been taken in before I even realised it was out the taxi! I stayed on a saturday night and there was live music in the street until about 10pm, something to be aware of if that bothers you. The walls seem quite thin also. For me it wasn't really an issue for one night."

"Excellent location but not for those with fitness and mobility issues. Excellent host and range of activities provided such as jungle walk and river cruise. Food plentiful. No WiFi but good phone signal. Host provides excellent transport to and from the airport as it is 2 hours away."
