This was my first time checking out on King’s Day and as a solo traveller, I wouldn’t recommend it. So I went back to my hotel room for the evening and enjoyed it. The breakfast was a lovely way to start each day. We rented bikes and felt they were safe being locked up in that neighborhood. We felt our room had a great view of the canal. Bed was comfortable. It’s more of an apartment than hotel style. So much room and loved the small kitchen area. So much better than the typical hotel stay.
