"This is a very old, but quaint property. The room was large and the en suite bathroom was also large. We arrived just after a snow storm. The village and surrounding area was beautiful. The house was almost as warm as te welcome and friendliness of Mario the owner. "

I knew we would be arriving late on the train and he was so calming and reassuring - this was important as we have never travelled to Italy before. Grazie! The breakfast was delicious, simple and just enough. The hotel is walkable to many restaurants and sites to see, we enjoyed the Ferrari Museum and had dinner at two wonderful restaurants."

"We stayed for 4 nights here, in mid april, a very quite and peaceful place. You can get a good sleep here and wake up with the sound of only birds singing. Breakfast is decent, good enough of variety and choices to start the day with. Not that close to major cities but Bologna is about a 20 minutes drive. I don't know how public transportation is in the area but with car it's good accessible."

Such a welcomed posh, beautiful, sophisticated spot! Staff were so lovely! I can not recommend a stay here enough! Every detail was amazing! Worth every cent! (Food and wine was exquisite too!)"
