"Friendly staff, clean on the surface, appears to be in renovation stage, heat and air worked fine, lighted/fenced parking, filthy sheets, cigarette burned bed covers, no (soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer), and breakfast was just coffee and oatmeal packets. This place is perfect as a homeless refuge or a 1 hour rental. Do yourself a favor and stay at one of the local casinos."

"We stay at Cities Of Gold often - it’s a convenient/affordable place close to my job when I have to schedule offsite. It’s been a Blessing for us because of the price!!"
"Stephanie is excellent owner, responsive, forthright. Helpful too. The property worked well for us, 3 families, 6 adults 6 kiddos; wished there was second bath in guest house, and possibly the 1/2 bath in main house was a full bath. Kitchens were amazingly well stock with both equipment an supplies. All 12 of us had Thanksgiving dinner at one table after some minor rearrangements. The property was a hit with younger kids. They played outside every day, even in cold. We had family photos for all the groups, and photographer found great backgrounds for all the many shots… beautiful. Property is located up a pretty good hill, and we had hard rain as we arrived which did roughen up road but we had no problems getting in and out. The quiet of the neighborhood was amazing! "
"This place was better than we expected. Nice and clean, it’s well stocked like the owner actually stays there. We can always tell the difference if an owner hasn’t spent the night at a rental. This place had any pot or pan needed, spices, teas, coffee, great beds, firewood and proper utensils for cooking. 10/10 we would stay here again. From here we explored Tao’s, Red Rock, National Parks. There’s a local grocery store on a reservation with a good selection and great prices, and Santa Fe had major grocery chain stores for anything else that you could want. "
"We loved our stay at Happy Ram. An architectural gem of elegant simplicity, beauty and calm, with every modern luxury. Just a 15-min drive to downtown Santa Fe, along a sleepy back road that passes by the Tesuque Village Market, so it’s convenient to necessities and yet it feels faaar away from it all. Welcoming and friendly hosts responded quickly to questions and requests. One note about the view: It’s ideal if you want to feel like part of the landscape, nestled in the piñons and surrounded by rolling hills. We spent hours on the back patio watching the sun move over the landscape, and the storm watching and stargazing were wonderful. But if you’re expecting a view of the far-off Santa Fe city lights, the best place to see them is from a trail above the house, not from the house itself. The inside/outside living is on the north side of the house."
