Casa Garvey is a beautiful casita in an idyllic setting. Twelve minutes from the Santa Fe Plaza, both far enough yet near enough to the city to be just perfect, set in an attractive development of the Tesuque foothills two miles above Tesuque Village, ten minutes from the Santa Fe Opera. Across from the entrance to the development is the Four Seasons Luxury Resort, Rancho Encantado. The casita has the charm of the classic Santa Fe style, with transformed kitchen and baths. It's wonderfully comfortable in all seasons, with delightful patios to enjoy in the warmer months and Kiva coziness when the weather turns cooler. From the spacious patio take in the gorgeous views of the high desert hills and beautiful mountains. Santa Fe Baldy is in view, and an incredible nighttime sky. Great home, great weather, great town

This is the third time we’ve visited Santa Fe. Thoroughly enjoyed this visit. A break from the heat back home. This home away from home had it all. Well equipped, very comfortable, close enough to town but also far enough away from the hustle bustle. Tim was very comfortable to work with throughout the reservation process and stay.

Wonderful condo, better than the pictures! This condo is very peaceful, with beautiful views. Very comfortable inside as well. The host has outfitted the condo with everything you might want or need. My wife and I loved our short 3 day visit!

Wonderful stay!

The unit was beautifully appointed in every way - new appliances, dishware, utensils, comfy beds, TVs, washer-dryer. Loved the location which was 15 minutes from the Plaza but in a pristine, quiet setting. Tim was great to communicate with from reservations until the hour we left the unit. We look forward to our next Santa Fe visit and hopefully staying here again. Thanks Tim!

Great location and residence

Only 10-15 minutes from downtown Santa Fe, this location is convenient to town but feels like you're far into the countryside. Love the house, the patio, the kitchen, the living areas, etc. We will visit again.

Exquisite location

The home was lovely and the host was super helpful with recommendations. The location was amazing! Close enough to Santa Fe to go into town for anything you needed but far enough away to provide privacy and beautiful vistas. Would definitely stay here again.

Tesuque Gem

Perfect stay amongst the beautiful New Mexico landscapes. Just close enough to everything, yet out in the wide open beauty of NM and just 7 minutes away from charming Tesuque and some great markets and restaurants. Perfect setting and great casita stocked perfectly.

Awesome getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved everything about the accommodations including being up in the foothills. So peaceful. Surrounded by nature, yet a short drive from the art galleries of Santa Fe. Now to figure out how we can stay here for a month instead of just a week . . .

Excellent experience

My husband and I, and 2 friends stayed at this property. It was our second visit, but the first time for our friends. The entire experience was great. Casita was clean and well maintained, with beautiful views and quiet surroundings. Owner was very easy to reach when we had questions. Would be more than happy to rent again.

Luxurious, Secluded Family Getaway!

Ideal site for our family of four on our trip to New Mexico. Beautiful setting, only a 15 minute drive from the heart of Santa Fe. We loved the pool, the gourmet kitchen, and hanging out on the patio. Tim was a great and communicative host who made the logistics a breeze. Recommend!

Peaceful and beautiful place to stay in Santa Fe

We came out to Santa Fe for some skiing and sightseeing. We travel a lot and all I can say is that this was probably the best place we've ever stayed at. The home is in a beautiful and peaceful location. The home itself was beautifully decorated and extremely cozy. Communication with owner was perfect. Without a doubt we'd enthusiastically recommend it to everyone. We'd definitely stay here again next visit!

Labor Day vacation

My friend and I stayed here from late August through Labor Day and absolutely loved this condo! It is far enough out of town to be able to see the millions of stars at night from the large patio, but close enough in that it only takes less than 10 minutes to get downtown. This is my new favorite spot to stay!

The perfect Santa Fe getaway

This property has everything you could ever want/need on your trip. They really have thought of everything. You are directly across from The Four Seasons resort where you’ll find a great Happy Hour or dining options. If you are looking for the prettiest sunsets and beautiful stargazing really close to town, then look no further.

Secluded Santa Fe Casa

We came to Santa Fe for the Santa Fe Century Ride. We had such a great time staying at this property. It was secluded, but close to everything. We loved the hiking trails near the house and were excited at night to be able to actually see the milky way away from all the city lights. The home is beautiful and very well appointed. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely wonderful!

The home is just lovely. Unlike many VRBO’s, this one looks like a home in which you would want to live forever. The artwork, the beautiful bathrooms, the fully equipped and well stocked kitchen, and the beautiful wood fireplace all are exceptional. The area is so beautiful and feels very private. It’s close enough to the city while still giving you the peace of the countryside. Tim is a great host and happy to answer questions. We will be back!

Fabulous Santa Fe Area Casa

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this little casa. Very clean, well stocked, cozy and a great location. Tim was very responsive and had great suggestions. Highly recommend time at Bandelier National Monument! Great hiking and history. Downtown Santa Fe (plaza area) is a must as well as at least one meal at Tesuque Village Market. The green chili stew is awesome! We happened to be here during the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta and got up one morning at 3:30 am for a mass release. Absolutely amazing!! Definitely worth getting up at that ridiculous hour!

Perfect vacation getaway

We spent 5 lovely days a this Santa Fe retreat. After being out all day in Santa Fe, Taos, Ghost Ranch, Bandelier, Los Alamos, etc., this home was very welcoming to return to. We cooked in/ grilled out every evening and the well equipped kitchen provided more amenities than most rentals. The living area was perfect for evenings in front of the fire, playing games or just having good conversations. As a host, Tim was great with communications, quick to answer questions and generous with how the rental was provisioned. We really felt we were staying at a friend's house. Will love to return in the future.

Family Christmas in Santa Fe

We were the very fortunate family members who got to stay at this homey beautiful casa. Loved the home, especially fires in the evening. Smudge and I took many walks on trails and in River bed. We walked over for breakfast at the four seasons and sat outside with a heater and it was lovely. Walked the streets of Santa Fe, with and without other family who stayed in town and got to enjoy El Nido and Gabriella’s. We drove to Chimayo and bought some beautiful art of the local. We hope to be back again. Tesuque and the “Market” were highlights too. This is a fantastic place. Thank you for the coffee by the way!

Perfectly Serene

As our first stay in Santa Fe in over 20 years, we were not familiar with the area and took a chance on what we saw on VRBO. Pueblo Encantado is not only as advertised, it far surpassed any expectations we may have had. The condo is beautiful, well appointed and wraps around you from the moment you arrive. As you walk in, all stress fades away and you find yourself completely relaxed and pampered. It is a short drive to Santa Fe and the Saturday morning Farmers' Market provides fun, delicious food and an opportunity to purchase delicious items to bring back and create the perfect dinner by the fire. You can walk off those calories by stepping just behind the condo to a beautiful hike up to a summit with panoramic views of the area. It is the perfect place to enjoy a wonderful getaway. We were not ready to leave at the end of our stay and plan to return soon. Thank you for an extraordinary experience.

Best Place to Stay in Santa Fe! OUTSTANDING casita!

We rented Tim's house for a quick end of summer getaway with our 9 and 11 year old girls and we all ABSOLUTELY loved this gem of a casita! I would give 6 stars if I could. Gourmet kitchen with every upgrade and thing you could possibly need and more. Modern large, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. All the decor is Santa Fe chic and so cozy. The outdoor patio is so peaceful with beautiful views, perfect for morning coffee, happy hour or a nightcap! Easy 12 minute drive to downtown. Pool was perfect and a great temperature. Tim recommended that we stop at Market Street for food and drinks on the way to the casita and that was the perfect plan. He also recommended going to Tesuque Market and I am SO glad we did. That place is a hidden gem..food and drinks were fantastic, just a super cool place. Loved being walking distance from the Four Seasons...we walked over for hiking, breakfast and 2 dinners (ask for Perla as your server she's the best!) Tim was so friendly, attentive and fast to respond when we needed something. I highly recommend you stay here when you visit Santa Fe, you will not be disappointed and really won't want to leave! We are already planning our next trip back!

A beautiful to stay

The home outside offers great views and peaceful places to sit to enjoy them. Inside is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being out in a great open space where we also had easy access to Santa Fe. The owner responded to every question in a prompt, helpful, and caring way.

The location was easy to find. Instructions from the owner explained the process. We loved the place! The place was clean, well stocked with clean linen, soap, shampoo, snacks, spices, coffee, extra jackets, crocks and even pet bowls.
