Welcome to the South Main Gathering House — a fully loaded 5-bedroom craftsman in the heart of Buena Vista's most beloved neighborhood. Whether you're here for a family reunion, a friends' getaway, or a multi-family adventure trip, this home was built for exactly that.

DESIGNED FOR TOGETHERNESS
The open great room, kitchen, and dining area flow together so no one gets left out of the conversation. Cook together at the large island bar (seats 4), gather around the gas fireplace, or throw open the French doors to the fenced backyard for grilling and golden-hour mountain views. The gated front porch is a favorite for kids, coffee, and watching Buena Vista wake up.

We had a grand time in Buena Vista in August. The location of the house is perfect to all of the recreational activities like the Ark River, trails, restaurants, etc. The house was perfect, and the front porch was excellent!

Kid-friendly and conveniently located

We had a blast in Buena Vista. The house was perfect for our extended family - six adults and four little kids under age 4. There were many kid-oriented extras that we super appreciated, like a booster seat, kid dishes, and stool for reaching the bathroom sink. We also loved the location - and easy walk to the river, playground, coffee shop etc. We’d definitely stay here again!

Great house for family

This was a great house for our gathering for a family wedding. It is right in the heart of the south main district, shopping, restaurants and recreational opportunities. The house itself is comfortable and the kitchen it fully equipped. (we cooked many meals). The host was very communicative. We would love to stay there again

Amazing family vacay in Buena Vista!!

We will all (12 of us!) remember "the green house"! It provided a welcoming and spacious base for our family vacation in Buena Vista. With perfectly arranged 5 bedrooms, gourmet kitchen and fenced outdoor yard/terrace, it was the perfect home for our rambunctious group. Jeffrey the owner was very gracious and responsive. There were a couple of kids bikes plus adult bikes in the storage shed and games for the kids; High chair and pack n play also. The front porch was perfect for cool mornings with coffee. We cannot say enough great things about this experience and will be back to Buena Vista soon!

Wonderful place to stay!!!

We had an amazing time staying at your place last week. First of all, your communication with us was the best and so easy to work with. The house is gorgeous, very clean, great location, very cute neighborhood, walking distance to so much, spacious, and has great outdoor (comfortable) furniture to sit at both on front and back porch and we loved that! The town was a great size with lots of shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. The Surf Hotel is just down the street and we walked down there one night late for a drink and the bar was so spacious and nice and we felt so safe. I would definitely come back and stay and recommend your home and town to others. The weather, the Aspens and the fall foliage made it the perfect time of the year to be there. We hope to see you again!!

Halloween wedding in Buena Vista

What a delightful house to stay in for a Halloween wedding at the Surf Hotel! The house was so comfortable and fully stocked with everything we needed. The radient heat floors were amazing after we got a foot of snow the first night and woke up to 3 degrees outside! So close to everything and some amazing hiking. Everything was walkable and the cute little town had so many fun resturants and shops. The Surf Hotel, a block from the house was a perfect venue for a wedding. Would love to come back in the summer to take advantage of the great hiking trails and rafting in the river. Thank you Jeff for your great communication and such a warm, comfortable house!

Family Wedding

We all had a great time in Buena Vista Colorado. The home is beautiful, it had everything we needed for our week stay. My niece got married at the Surf Hotel which we could walk to from the house. The scenery is amazing all around the area . My grandson loved that he could ride one of the bikes in the shed. He would take his fishing rod and head to the Arkansas river on the bike. The shops in the village were very close and about a 10 minute walk. We found lots to do in the area and would highly recommend this home. We made some great memories with our family all together!

Best Christmas Vacation Home

This place was awesome! Plenty of room for all of us to stay. 10 of us filled the house with Laughter, Joy, and Happiness for almost a week. Walking distance from some fun areas. Peaceful neighborhood. House had everything we could have ever needed. Crockpot on site. Cast iron pans as well as other cookware. A wide variety of seasonings available. Plenty of room to spread out and have your own quiet times if needed. Homeowners were awesome. Extremely helpful if we needed anything. Highly recommend this home for large families.

What a charming, comfortable home! Beautifully located just outside of downtown in a quiet neighborhood. Very convenient for the wedding we were attending at the Surf Hotel! The owners were very responsive and accommodating. They were even able to get us in a little early as we arrived earlier than expected! The surrounding scenery is breathtaking!
