The lodge’s accommodation comprises a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, living/dining room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Wi-Fi is not available in the property, however it can be found at nearby local pubs.
Located near the historic village of Kilkhampton, Penstowe Park is ideally located for exploring the many delights of Cornwall and North Devon, including the nearby seaside surfing town of Bude with its Castle Heritage Centre and canal with many cafés and local artisan craft shops. Explore the areas made famous by Rick Stein, Doc Martin and Poldark and why not take a trip to the award-winning Eden Project? The famous village of Tintagel with its connections to the legend of King Arthur is just 23 miles away and well worth a visit to see the clifftop castle and its grounds. A torch is recommended if you’re arriving after dark. The holiday was very good and the accommodation was overall good but slightly cold at night being the time of year. It was very quiet because we were the only ones on the site and it's a big site but that suited us. We always love Bude and it was easy to get there and sometime we will be back all being well.
