"Best place we've stayed in Iceland!!! Love all the thoughtful details and facilities of the cabin, as well as the stunning view and wildlife animals surrounding us there.
We were lucky enough to see aurora at night and spot a family of seals sunbathing on the sea rocks in the next morning - thanks to the binos provided in the cabin.
Overall the cabin is very well designed, clean and tidy. Space-wise, we didn't feel cramped at all even with 2 big suitcases and all our winter gears. And bonus to the shower that didn't spill water.
The outdoor hot tub was spacious for two people and water was hot - the hosts had pretty much everything set up, we just had to remove the hot tub cover and put it back when done.
Cooking utensils and cutlery were clean and good as new. They also provided a variety of herbs and even some pasta, rice, tea, chocolate and candies.
The information booklet written and printed by the hosts was very helpful - all those little details added up to a perfect experience."
"The location was great, quiet and minimal background lighting. The northern lights were impressive. Our host prepared a delicious breakfast with a lot of variety."
"Comfortable room, shower water pressure is not very high but at least it's hot. Hotel is very nice and has good breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Also a good location to see the aurora if the sky is clear, as there's great visibility in all directions!"
"Arthur and Caroline were extremely welcoming and excellent hosts. If the weather had cooperated it would have been and excellent place to see the stars and perhaps the northern lights too. "
"very friendly hosts, good rooms and nice clean house and bathroom.
only not so good thing was the signaling to get to the guesthouse and at breakfast few options for proteins (e.g eggs)"
"Very basic accommodation. Enough for a comfortable night’s sleep, but furniture was very basic and there was nothing inviting about the place - as if someone assembled a bunch of okra stuff and placed it in the room. "
