Hotel Riviera Sidmouth

3.5 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (11)
"Lovely hotel in a great location with fantastic sea views. The welcome and attention by the staff was excellent. The only disappointment was that the hotel bill at the end of the stay was much less than what we had already paid to Expedia."

The Kingswood Hotel

4.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (134)
"So as we were driving down to Devon we were running a little late. Liz on reception took the trouble to ring us and check our ETA so that we wouldn't have any difficulty getting in when we arrived. Top drawer. She had also rang me earlier in the week to sort out our parking as she suspected email wasn't working. And on top of that they're
dog
friendly. In fact most of Sidmouth is
dog
friendly. "

Purley - Three Bedroom House, Sleeps 6

8.0 out of 10, Very good, (1)
"We were a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 kids under seven and one grandparent) and we stayed at Purley for three nights. The property is well sized and sparingly but tastefully furnished. The kitchen has lots of kids crockery but the board games are ancient or have bits missing so bring your own. The outdoor space at the back needs some love and isn’t very child friendly (brambles, steep uneven steps) but we didn’t spend much time there as the beach is 5 mins walk away. After getting soaked and cold...
