Another rental by Glenn with reduced rates for "Winter Fest" for month of Feb. It is a cozy, fully renovated cottage, all new. Close short walk to all "Winter Fest" activities! North-shore Park with a mini beach, the start of a 4.2 mile walking/biking path, and boat launch. Restaurants and stores are within walking distance.

  • The second oldest building remaining on The Ohio State University campus, Orton Hall was opened in 1893. It is named after Dr Edward Orton, Sr. who served as Ohio State's first president, OSU Professor of Geology from 1873 to 1899, and Ohio's State Geologist from 1882 until his death in 1899. Orton Hall is built of 40 different Ohio building stones. In the outside walls, these stones are laid in stratigraphic order according to their relative positions in Ohio's bedrock. The only non-indigenous to Ohio stone used is Indiana Limestone to build the front steps. It was chosen because of its high concentration of embedded fossils. The bell tower was dedicated in 1915 and contains 25,000 pounds of bells that can be heard regularly tolling across campus. Encircling the top of the tower are 24 columns with gargoyle-like figures which are restorations of fossil animals.

Very clean recently updated little house a few blocks from the lake. Very convenient to enjoy the lake. Will definitely stay there again.

This house was perfect for our weekend stay. The house is very nicely decorated and clean. Location was great - walkable distance (sidewalks) to Buckeye Lake State Park and a very easy drive to the Denison campus (reason for our visit). His s were amazing- leaving us a small gift, touching base during our stay, and stocking the fridge with bottled water. We are definitely looking forward to staying there again when we have future Denison visits.

Very cute, very clean, convenient location

We stayed for a full week in July while my daughter played in a nearby softball showcase. The house was very well managed and Glenn was super responsive to any inquiries we had. We were able to walk down to see the fireworks display and enjoyed the lake’s walking path as well as the surrounding pubs. We rented fishing kayaks and a pontoon boat for fun activities. It was a lovely stay.

Brand new cottage

My son stayed here for 6 week while he took a class. Everything in the place is literally brand new. Glenn was quick to answer any questions and very accommodating overall. Definitely recommend!

Fun lake decor and all the comforts of home. Very much enjoyed staying in this cute cottage. Only complaint is a towel rack is needed in the bathroom to avoid wet towels getting put in the hamper. Loved the octopus. :) Would recommend and stay again. Thank you!

Their was leftover food in the trash can. The grass was really high. The communication was terrible. I msg for days asking for how tonget into the property with nothing till the day of check in.

The property is newly remodled, clean, and well-stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of room to spread out. Nice comfy furniture. The cottage is an easy 10 minute walk to the lake. We didn't get to use the outside amenities but the yard and property looked very nice. Only minor complaint - and there's nothing anyone can do about it - is the road noise with so many motorcycles driving past late into the night.

Super cute little house, very welcoming. The bathroom wall and baseboards were a little dirty. There is truly one nice bedroom a room with a daybed and the ladder to the loft area was very steep and no handrail. We could not use as a third bedroom. But overall nice place. Could see us staying there again!!
