"The house in Otter lake was wonderful! Located a short 10 minute drive from Old Forge it provides a very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay for multiple nights. Plenty of space for our group of five people the interior is pleasantly decorated with unique artwork and a rustic cabin like feel. We especially enjoyed the heated floor in the kitchen and the upstairs view from the window of the winding road, it looked like a painting. The owner is great to deal with and gave us a free homemade loaf of bread, which was delicious! We would recommend this home to anyone and would be happy to stay there again."

"We had an amazing week at Singing Pines. The cabin is exceptionally clean, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a truly comfortable stay. It’s hard to capture just how cozy, inviting, and welcoming it feels. Kelly and her husband are incredibly sweet and kind, and communication is outstanding. We’re already looking forward to returning to Singing Pines soon!"

"Arrived early with permission property was not cleaned. Miscommunication about being cleaned the day before. Cleaner was very responsive and cleaned for a few hours while we waited outside. House has some things that need to be fixed. Main bathroom toilet leaking and can smell sewer gases. Dirty towels in some bedrooms. Missing window screens from some bedrooms and some kitchen cabinets/drawers broken. The property was perfect for our group and we plan to return next year with the hopes these things can be fixed. Had an RV and plenty of parking and property. We were surprised and pleased with the supply of fire wood for inside and outside. Washer and dryer was a plus. No complaints about the beds, mine was very comfortable. I hope the owners read this and do their best to fix things that are simple fixes. My last hope is I get offered a credit for the inconvenience of staying outside while the inside was being cleaned."

"We booked this for our very small wedding we were having. At first glance I was a little concerned about the outside of the house. It was not exactly what the pictures showed and could have a little maintenance done around the outside and deck. The steps to the dock area are in need of some TLC but it is still accessible and able to be used. Overall, it was a perfect venue for our needs and Jason was very helpful."

"John is a wonderful host, helpful and accommodating. Spent 2 nights with 3 of my closest friends. The main comment to describe the main house was, "grandma's camp." (Rustic but homey) The ammentities really made the stay fun, set in a wooded landscape on the lake. The house was clean for the most part. The owner counts on the previous renters to clean the house, all the appliances, including the grill before leaving. We left the toaster oven, trash can and outdoor grill cleaner than we found it."

"The location ON the Moose River was gorgeous but the cottages are VERY close so it was a little noisy. The decorations on the grounds for Halloween were adorable! It was difficult to learn how to operate the TV and the heaters (it was cold in the mornings). There were no instructions left to run either item and when we called the number listed, we could only leave a message but nobody called us back. We had to wait till the next day when the office was open ..then someone came right away. The shower was NOT spotless, and the floors weren't super clean. The main bedroom was ok but the bunks in the bunk room were small and not so clean under the mattresses. There was only ONE small area to hang clothes. They left no cleaning supplies or paper towels to clean before we left."
