"For the last 8 years straight I have traveled to the Evergreen area of Colorado in October. This year we chose the “Mountain Hideaway” in Evergreen for our stay. The house is located high up the mountain, it’s very clean and spacious, with extraordinary views of the mountains . The drive up to the house has some challenges. While I’d highly recommend 4x4 or AWD, one of our group was able to get a rear wheel drive vehicle up to the house without too much trouble because the road up was dry. Our group had 4 adults and a little dog, we all had plenty of personal space. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds, we all slept really well. The main room of the house has a very nice fireplace that we used throughout the visit, nothing like warming by a fire up in the mountains. The house is stocked with pretty much all necessary kitchen utensils, which came in handy for preparing breakfasts and dinners throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the hot tub on a couple evenings and the star viewing was awesome. If you’re up for an adventurous stay in the mountains, this place will undoubtedly meet all expectations. This has been my favorite place I’ve stayed over all my visits to Evergreen. Would recommend!!"

"A beautiful mountain home high above Evergreen. A long and winding road up through the aspens and evergreens to this amazing two story retreat. Great for a group or family as plenty of beds and bathrooms. Big kitchen, well-stocked with everything you need. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood so you can sit outdoors and read or enjoy the scenery. Maria was great, helping us with any questions that came up. Definitely worth it and stay awhile! "
