This is a beautiful spacious log cabin. This home was featured on HGTV's show Log Cabin Living! We enjoy the privacy and having a fence for our dogs. We feel far away, yet we're only 2 minutes from town and less than a mile from the entrance to the National Park! The home has plenty of room for families, and with us having 3 young girls we keep it very kid friendly! On rainy or cold days you should find plenty to do :) The basement has 2 bedrooms and a large living area. 1 bedroom has a queen and private bathroom. 2nd has a twin over full over twin bunk bed with shared bathroom. Home was everything we expected, with plenty of room for all 10, six adults and four toddlers, and we still had a spare bedroom we did not use.
Private and only a couple minutes from The quaint town of Bryson City.
The owner was very good to work with and was very accommodating.
This house had a lot of options to play for kids, a great wrap around porch, good sized hot tub and a trampoline.
It could have used some family games, but the 11 of us had it ball.
We had a wonderful stay! Took our kids and two large dogs. Everyone was entertained and happy. We loved the trampoline, fenced in yard and game room! Communication with Gina was also fantastic. Will be going back!
Incredible stay adults and kids loved the house so much we were all discussing how to buy the property, plenty of space for all to enjoy and only 2 miles from town
Thank you Gina for a wonderful stay at your house. Everything was so clean and lots of amenities we didn’t expect…toiletries, k cups, sugar, spices and such a well appointed kitchen! We enjoyed the porch and the quiet. So close to town but it feels as if you are in middle of a beautiful forest miles from town. We enjoyed walking around Bryson City and Sylva. We hope to be back soon..
Couldn’t have asked for a more kid friendly, beautiful place!
We loved our long weekend at Gina’s place! My children’s ages run from 3 to 13 and they absolutely loved it. It was very clean, lots of space, plenty of privacy. It felt like we were miles from town but it’s only about a 3 min drive to downtown Bryson City. The house has plenty of extras for the kids. We loved the big island in the kitchen. Kids loved the trampoline. We will absolutely be staying here again!
The property was extremely clean, comfortable and very private. I can't say enough good things about our stay and the communication from the owner. We will definitely book this exact property when we return to Bryson City. Our favorite features were the size of the kitchen, the gas fireplace, the fenced back yard with lots of room for our golden retriever to run around, the privacy, hot tub, huge wrap around deck, grill, hot tub, and last but not least the amazing shower and bathroom attached the the master bedroom. The house is newer so all of the appliances were in great working order. Very nice washer and dryer. The gravel road leading to the cabin was very well maintained and easy to drive down (unlike some mountain cabins). You will not be disappointed when you book this cabin. We also recommend booking the 4 hour train tour in Bryson City and eating at Jimmy Mac's restaurant. Clingman's Dome was also worth the vist (and the very steep hike) it will wear you out but it's definitely worth it. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!
