Mountain Views - Hot Tub - Fire Pit

Top of the Mountain views in this spacious A-frame with wrap-around deck, and hot tub. This cabin has all the amenities of home, including internet. Great open floor plan with large windows giving you uninterrupted views with absolute privacy. Perfect for any occasion from a girl’s weekend getaway to a romantic honeymoon! The primary suite offers a king bed, the loft has 2 queen beds and a comfortable desk allowing you to work from home while being surrounded by nature. The large wrap around porch, hot tub, and fire pit will make it hard to ever want to go inside. There is also easy access to hiking trails and a waterfall just down the driveway.
Closely located to downtown Bryson City (approximately 15 minutes), the entrance to the Smoky Mountain National Park, Nantahala and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. High Clearance vehicles only. You must cross through a small creek with your vehicle to get to the cabin. There is no bridge over the creek.

Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it! Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be used to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

Here at Yellow Rose, your safety is our priority. If a cabin requires 4 wheel, front wheel, or all wheel drive to access it, it will be listed in the description. If bringing or riding motorcycles, please call and ask for motorcycle friendly properties. If you have any concerns about accessing your rental, please call prior to your arrival and we will be happy to discuss it with you.

Mountain Roads:
Be prepared for steep, narrow, and curvy roads, both state-maintained and private.
Gravel roads are common.
These roads are part of the mountain charm but may require extra caution while driving.

Vehicle Requirements: front wheel drive vehicles only. High Clearance vehicles only. You must cross through a small creek with your vehicle to get to the cabin. There is no bridge over the creek.

A very enjoyable trip

We had a great time here. The cabin was great and the view from it was beautiful. It was the perfect place to get awake from the rest of the world and just relax. I would for sure stay at this place again for another vacation.

The cabin was beautiful and the view from the deck was amazing! It was peaceful and relaxing. The last bit of road to the cabin was tricky but well worth the drive.

Sister vacation

This year we opted for a maintain vacation instead of a beach one and we are so thankful we did. We weathered the hurricane in this amazing cabin. The hot tub was a great addition to the wonderful experience!! The drive up to the mountain was incredible, thankful we had a 4x4 truck though. Views were spectacular!!

Relaxing

Mountain Time was a much needed tranquil get away. The cabin was very clean and accommodating. The view was awesome, and it was so quiet there. We enjoyed star gazing from the hot tub in the evenings, and listening to the owlsin the area. We would definitely look forward to a return visit, but maybe with a 4x4 next time as the driveway was a little rough but traveling it was not real hard.

Will be back!

This was my mom(64) and son(7) first time going to the mountains and they are both hooked now! The cabin was amazing with beautiful views which makes up for the driveway. Will definitely be returning.

Amazing property

This was an amazing get away. It was a good friends birthday so we surprised her with a weekend get away. It was amazing. I live locally however it was a good way to meet a little closer to her and have an actual get away. Will most definitely not hesitate to book this location again if the need arises.

Honeymoon

This cabin was perfect for our honeymoon we love the location and the amazing views that came with it! We were able to visit the places nearby and enjoy the views before and after in the hot tub! The only thing we can comment on that wasn’t great was the door looked like at one time it was kicked/pushed in and it made for trying to lock the door annoying at times because it wouldn’t always line up. Overall I have already told friends and family about the cabin and we have already talked about staying again in the future! Highly recommend having an AWD truck/suv to make it up to the cabin not sure we could make it if we were in a car.

Gorgeous remote cabin for relaxation

Cabin came fully stocked from basic seasonings for cooking to blenders to marshmallow skewers. The view of the breathe taking. I have never seen mountains before, then to wake up and see three gorgeous mountains with no other cabins. It feels like you’re in the middle of peaceful woods.... Which you are. The drive to the cabin you will be a little worried due to a gravel road with high incline. The road is only able to have one car at a time but it’s a two way road. It was fun to drive once you get the hang of the road. It’s about 5 minutes on that road until the cabin. Have a all wheel Subaru, who handled it like a champ. The cabin was clean besides the kitchen but I’m assuming the people before didn’t teach it like there home. Bathrooms, bedrooms were perfect.

We don't use apps for watching things and we were hoping for occasional TV or DVD entertainment for our 8 year old.

breath taking sunsets

We had a wonderful stay. The kids and dogs had a blast. The cabin was perfect with all the amenities we needed. The sunsets were some of the prettiest we have ever seen. The drive in was not as bad as some reviews mentioned but we do have 4 wheel drive (although we only used it 2 times). We would definitely stay again!
