Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

The proximity to Bryson is great. It sits on quite an incline so prepare yourself for the drive. If you’re looking for a nice, comfortable place to stay with more than enough amenities, it’s a good spot for you. A few warnings: Don’t expect great WiFi but it’s clearly stated before you arrive. Check the router if you’re struggling to connect. Info is there. Unfortunately, hot tub went down right before we made it, but we received a call and a partial refund accordingly. Also a burn ban was in effect. Things happen!

Also, it comes with some outside pups from the neighbors if you feel like befriending them. Super sweet dogs. My largest complaint about this space is cell phone signal and wi-fi. It was IMPOSSIBLE to connect and do anything. My son was with me and he goes to school online. We had to drive into the city and use my mobile hot spot to do ANYTHING. Such a nightmare. If you can get this taken care of, this is the PRIME spot to stay.

Glider and rocking chairs on the porches are an added plus to have coffee and admire God’s handiwork of the trees. Hot tub was very relaxing after our day of hiking. Not one complaint from my family!!! Five stars

The Wi-Fi never connected to the internet. Then managing office didn't help with this issue. The oven on the gas range took forever to cook even a regular frozen pizza. The location has mo signal for any cell coverage, and there's no land line that works. So, if you need to make any calls or look anything up you have to travel to the bottom of the mountain to a gas station to do so. One tv wouldn't come on in one of the br upstairs. The other br ha issues with the sound (hmmming and buzzing noise).

The wifi password we were given didn't work so we had no internet the whole time. The upstairs bad room fan had a bad odor when it came on like possible wire burning so we kept it off. Property was very pretty but not happy with having to come home to hire an exterminator for possibly carrying bugs back. And there is a rope on the cliff beside the back door someone could possibly be looking inside that kitchen door which has no blind or curtain on it. Kinda creepy.
