The hotel does not have a concierge. I received a message asking to arrive before 18:00 to find someone to give me the key. I arrived 1t 17:50 there was nobody, not even a desk for concierge. The room had a strong electrical noise. No soap in the bathroom. I called to a dedicated number, nobody replied. After 1h, I received a message where someone understood the problem of the noise and proposed me to change room. I did it.
The new room was bigger and better. Still no soap provided. Before going to sleep I lost an hearing near the bed and when I looked for it, I found out how dirty was the floor under the bed. There was even another hearing, lost by another client. I still could hear the electrical noise of my previous room, despite it was much lighter.
I was asked to pay on the spot the city tax. No problem. When I asked for a receipt, I received an invoice complete of city tax plus the real price of the Regent 55, which was 26% lower than what I had already paid on Hotels.com. I was said that this was not their problem.
When I left the hotel, the opening button of the entrance door did not work properly and I found myslef locked in with nobody to ask for help.
Once at home I checked again the invoice received and even the dates were wrong. I sent a message, asking for at least an invoice with corrected dates but I never received it.
I will never book again at Regent 55 and I will spread the word.
