"The hotel is older, but in good condition and clean. The staff were helpful. I would probably have stayed again, but the day I left, my credit card was hacked. I was in Ladysmith for a few days before I checked out and had no issues when I used the credit card at other places, but the day I checked out, I was hacked and had to get a new card. Since I've not stayed there before and have not had this happen before, I may consider it a coincidence."

"Everything was just so cozy from the front office decor to the bed and bedding itself and the lighting by the bed when I walked into the room. The shower was relaxing and all amenities were available which was convenient that I didnt need to bring an iron with me and was able to make my first cup of coffee in the morning. The airiconditioning was nice and cool. The room was spacious. I watched a little TV before bed. I slept so very comfortably until my morning alarm! Easy and quick check out and super nice staff! I highly recommend staying here!"

"Great cabin on the river! Plenty of space to spread out. Garage had great indoor space with ping pong and living area. Outdoor spaces were amazing. Hanging out by the fire pit or relaxing under the patio. Communication with host was excellent. I would definitely book here again."
Hygge Lodge is a gorgeous lakefront gathering place for year round family fun.

"Host was amazing and very responsive. Location is beautiful with plenty of room! Home was well stocked with supplies and everything needed for water activities. Sauna was a great bonus! Would stay there again."

Charming Hilltop Home with City View

"This was the perfect place for our group of 7 with the right amount of sleeping space and dining space. It was quite hot while we were there so did not get to enjoy the outside space or the hot tub but hope to return sometime when it is cooler to take care of those wonderful features. A safety issue that should be mentioned - there are no handrails going up the stairs to three of the bedrooms and no handrail to basement either. I would hesitate to stay here with young children without those safety protocols in place. The stairs going to second level are wood and can be quite slippery in socks. The stairs going to basement are carpeted but very steep (laundry is in basement)."
