3/5 Okay
OK - but definitely not 4 Star
"We chose this hotel because the hotels.com website tells us that it has a restaurant, a bar and parking available.
Of the three only the parking was provided at a cost.
The bar and restaurant are closed permanently.
Our room was quiet thanks to the double-double glazed windows and the beds were comfortable however the air-conditioning system was hopelessly inadequate and our room was stifling. I’d hate to stay in the summer months!!
The other thing that I will never understand with so many hotels we’ve stayed in. They know they are catering for a couple - so why is there only one chair???
So - Pros and cons.
Pros
Parking available at a cost
Close to the old town and local restaurants
Good shower
Blackout curtains
Cons
Hopeless air- conditioning
Bar fridge only keeps things cool (not cold)
No kettle or tea / coffee making facilities in room
No toilet brush "

5/5 Excellent
"Quaint property with a great location. Some of the room needed a bit of a freshening and there were long dark hairs stuck to the bed linens. Normally this would have horrified me but it didn’t feel ‘dirty’, just something that happened.
A short walk to Plaza Mayor and all the old town sites. Many restaurant options in a variety of price ranges. Would book there again. "
