This is a great location that's very close to Mammoth Cave national Park and gave us every ability to enjoy a trip and cave exploring. Thomas clean and well maintained plenty of items for you and your family.
Check in process was easy. Place was neat and clean, with plenty of living space for a get together with friends and family. Just minutes from Mammoth Cave made it very convenient for us.
What a great location and proximity to Mammoth cave. I was able to stay with family at this excellent property and we had a great time. My son especially loved the playhouse. Can’t wait to stay again sometime.
Very clean, comfortable home. Close to so much…caves, trails and museums.. We highly recommend Hidden River Cave and the escape room near here.

Great place to land
Very nice property that allowed our family (3 teens) to spread out and find separate places at the end of each day's adventures. The kids loved the games and mom & dad loved the peace and quiet.
Definitely recommend for a family!
We had a great stay at the place. It was very clean and the host is responsive. The location is close to Mammoth Cave. Beware walking your dog around the property. There’s a wedding venue behind that’s private property and monitored. I recommend taking dogs the Turnpoint Sink loop just down the street heading toward the park. It’s a nice half mile walk good for doggies.
Great communication, super quiet and peaceful, very clean!
We really enjoyed our stay here! It was super close to Mammoth cave as well as to local towns. The host was very responsive and helpful. Some may be hesitant because it is a permanently mounted mobile home. No need to worry. It is well cared for. Any place could have flaws if a person wanted to be picky, but this place was as nice or better than most hotels with MUCH more space!! The early mornings on the deck were wonderful! So quiet and peaceful!
Clean, spacious, supplies were plentiful and beyond expectations. The kids loved the yard. Used the fire pit each night. Answered all questions I had before our trip with patience and friendliness. If and when we can return, I will definitely choose this over any motel, cabin or condo.
Very enjoyable.
Loved my stay here. Communication was easy, great recommendations for the area, in the welcome binder, and in the guest book. Easy drive to the natl park and other nearby hiking/swimming spots. The dog also had a MASSIVE yard to run around when he wasn't exhausted from swimming at Hoachin's(sp?) Ferry or hiking the grand loop encircling mammoth cave np. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Everything in this area is about 15-20 minutes away no matter how you shake it, so stay here and be near the park and nature and the farmland and the neighbor's horses and the QUIET! Highly recommend
My family and I had a wonderful experience! We wanted to spend the weekend exploring Mammoth Cave National Park and this house was located right by the entrance to the park. The house is tucked away by a farm and it made for a peaceful trip. The inside was clean and exactly what we expected, maybe even better! My Dad is 6'7 and owner was nice enough to measure the height of the ceiling for us. It was perfect and extremely comfortable for him (besides hitting his head on one doorway which was due just his own lack of attention). Overall it was great and we would recommend to anyone!
We enjoyed our stay overall. There’s not many options to get this close to the park without being in the park. The location gives a rural feel, which is nice. Sitting on the front porch, you can’t really see the neighbors, just the field across the street, which is nice. The house is a renovated single-wide trailer but it feels spacious inside with open kitchen and living room and good-sized bedrooms. It was clean. I only downgraded the overall and clean ratings because of the bug issue. There was an ant problem in the kitchen; this was fixed by keeping all food on the kitchen table instead of on the counter. There was a ladybug problem in the master bath. Thankfully, they’re just ladybugs! FYI - the county it is in is a dry county - no alcohol sold in restaurants or stores. So if that affects you, might bring some from home or a different county. The local grocery store otherwise had everything we needed and was reasonably priced.
We chose to stay at this property compared to getting a hotel since we had other family going with us on our vacation.
The home was clean upon arrival. There are some quirks, such as the hot and cold is backwards on most of the sinks and an outlet in the kitchen is sticking out from the wall.
The amenities provided met all of our needs. Just note that the nearby grocery store closes early.
I had tried to reach out to the property owners with questions originally through the Vrbo app, but was not getting responses. However, once I received contact info from Evolve Travel and sent an email, they responded almost immediately.
It was hot outside, so we did not spend much time outdoors at the fire pit and our son only played in the playhouse for a bit (watch out for wasps).
There was plenty of room overall for the 5 of us to have space, and our 2 year old to run around. The AC worked great for the 90+ degree days.
Great little mobile home right on the edge of the park. Perfect place for a family (don’t try to put big people in bunk bed). Appliances and such were in good condition. Had a great stay—definitely recommended for those that like a little charm and can laugh off a few imperfections. Clearly a pro team managing the place.
