"The service at this hotel was excellent. The staff consistently did their best to accommodate guests’ needs. Even though the hotel was nearly fully booked, they still managed to move me to a room that I preferred, which I greatly appreciated.
The breakfast was also very good, and the staff were warm, attentive, and thoughtful throughout my stay.
I do have one suggestion regarding the signage on the first floor. Two guest rooms appear to share an entrance area with a public restroom, and the entrance to the entire area is marked with a large “Restroom” sign. This may unintentionally give guests staying in those rooms the impression that their rooms are located within the restroom area. For guests paying around $300 per night, the signage may detract from the overall sense of comfort, privacy, and value.
It may also cause other guests to assume that every door within that area leads to a public restroom. If a guest-room door were accidentally left unlocked, someone looking for the restroom could mistakenly enter the room, creating an uncomfortable situation and potentially disturbing the occupants.
I hope the hotel will consider changing the signage or redesigning the entrance area so that the guest rooms and the public restroom are more clearly distinguished."
"The room faced the ocean from across the street. Everything was fine but one unresolved issue…. There was an oder of unknown source that smelled like stinky feet. Not constant but would occasionally occure. The next morning, I was coughing really hard, like an allergy cough. 30 minutes after we drove away I recovered.
Oh btw.. my wife verified the smell was not ours…"
"The description doesn’t state that you only gets a place to sleep and that bathrooms and kitchen are in another building. Basically a glorified tent. Bathrooms are clean and have showers. Kitchen is shared by all campers and decent. We didn’t cook but used the fridge to keep things cool. A keurig would be a great option with a shared kitchen rather than a pot."
"Super cute, and in a nice area. Not a lot around for food or coffee though. The pods have an outlet and a fan / heater and light inside! The washrooms were very clean as well!"
"Such a tranquil & restful spot.
Currently a work in progress.
The access roads about the property need attention. The new geo-domes (permanent materials including glass) are amazing, they even include AC & constant hot water!
The water sports equipment was in good working order & very much appreciated.
A larger office welcoming guests which offered common camping foods & consumables etc would be very welcome & perhaps a nice little income stream - it wouldn't need to be open all day?
With time & further work this place is gonna be a solid 5 stars!"
"This property was so accurately described. The view of the ocean was stunning when eating breakfast, and sitting out on the deck with a glass of wine after our daily adventures was relaxing. The apartment itself was well appointed, modern, clean and very comfortable. Hope we can come back someday."
"Fun outdoor experience in the pods, I liked the shared kitchen idea.. we’re able to eat inside at the kitchen table and store items in the fridge. Showering accommodations were adequate with hooks and stool which was a bonus to hang your towel and items on. Location was perfect, pods were warm and cozy."
