"1 The Noust is a perfect haven for a quiet retreat and to explore mainland Orkney. The cottage is extremely well equipped, especially the kitchen. The storage heaters made the cottage just comfortable, without being 'too hot.' There are some lovely walks around the village and a local shop for any groceries required. The host provides excellent communication regarding booking, key access, the cottage itself and answered any queries within mins. For us, this cottage was a special find and we hope...

"Great place to stay in Wick, literally a home away from home. Bread, butter, milk and biscuits was a pleasant surprise on arrival. Every amenity you could expect. The apartment was warm, comfortable; the shower piping hot and the wifi signal strong. Plenty of parking space and a short walk to bars and restaurants. "We stayed for 3 nights and it was a perfect location for all we wanted to see. Andrea was really helpful at check in and told us everything we needed to know. The pod was very spacious and had everything we could ever want. The weather wasn't good enough to use the hot tub but it looked inviting nevertheless. We also loved seeing the animals virtually outside the door. A very enjoyable stay"
