"Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. "Stairs up to room were very clean and well kept. Corridors clean, spacious and lovely air fresheners used. Room was very clean, spacious and quiet and cosy. Bed comfortable and lovely pillows. Bathroom had good shower and a bathmat was provided which I like to have. Good shower gel, shampoo,conditioner and hand cream provided. Breakfast was lovely and lots of choice. Friendly staff. Would recommend and would stay again."

The telephone in the room was non-functional which is unacceptable in an establishment of this type. Yes, I would return."
