"I only stay here because it’s close to the airport. Very shabby rooms for what they charge."

"Tent needs extra lighting, very dark especially at night. Shampoo, conditioner amenities need to be added to outdoor shower, not just indoor shower. Tent can be noisy when tents nearby are occupied."

"We had a lovely room with a good sized fridge, stove top, cooking utensils and a king sized bed. We had a lovely continental breakfast every morning (I love the pancake maker!) and the location was central to everything."

"We were there at the beginning of May, 2026. The rooms are large and each has its own private sitting and BBQ area. There isn't a view but it is very convenient. The bathrooms are outdoors which can be hot in the afternoon. Each room comes with a washer/dryer and they provide some laundry soap packets. There is a nice pool. We didn't eat at the restaurant but it was crowded every night. The resort was not crowded while we were there. It is not directly on the beach (only one is) but is in easy walking distance to the dunes/beach or trivial driving to the parking at the Beach Cafe. Cable Beach is a wonderful beach. The only downside to Bali Hai is you don't get to park next to your room. On the other hand, there aren't roads/vehicles everywhere."
