Home away from Home

Extremely comfortable and well stocked. The beds and linens are very luxurious, and I don’t say that lightly as we have bad backs. The way the sun shines through the windows is magical and the deck/outdoor area is thoughtfully set up.

Absolutely Amazing Place!

Stayed here for the weekend with the family and it was perfect. The kids loved all the amenities and the location was great, close to plenty of things to do/places to eat. The hosts were also attentive and quick to answer any questions we had. Will definitely be back and can't wait!

Wonderful Accommodations, Perfect Location

12 adults stayed at the Americana for my husband's 40th birthday. The setting, location, and layout of the house were all amazing, and every single person mentioned how comfortable the beds were! Great amenities and communication on the host's part. We stayed in August and are already trying to plan a Christmas/holiday stay at this house for later this year with a few family members. If we are ever back in the Hochatown/Broken Bow area, this is definitely the first place we will try and stay!

Perfect home in the woods!!

Great house - layout is very nice. Amazing backyard play area for children!! Very nice deck with fireplace, tv, furniture. So nice to have a beverage and watch football!! The kitchen is filled with nice plates, glassware, coffee maker etc. lots of thought into the guests needs. Highly recommend!!

Amazing Cabin, Highly Recommended

There was a lot of great stuff about this cabin, but the thing I really want to point out is how amazing this place was for keeping children entertained. Most of the cabins I looked at only give lip service to kids entertainment, putting a small pre-fab play structure outside and calling it a day. But the Americana pulls out all the stops, with a huge play structure, zip line, arcade table (with 400+ games!), fuzball and half a dozen other things I’m forgetting to mention right now. Did a great job of keeping the kids entertained so we could relax instead of entertaining them. A++. Would stay again.

Great trip, cabin, and hosts

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this cabin, the outdoor area, and the hosts. In total there were 8 kids ranging from infant to almost 7 years old. They had a blast with the outdoor playscape, the indoor game room upstairs, making smore's in the fire pit, and even seeing a shoot star at night! The cabin had ample space for all of us and was really beautiful with the custom wood work throughout the home and all of the large windows. The outdoor seating area was great to be able to look down at the kids playing. The 2 big fans attached over the seating area were really nice as well! I also appreciated the gate the could be slide blocking off the stairs leading down from the outdoor seating area to the backyard. Before, during, and after our visit, the hosts reached out to provide helpful information and to make sure we were enjoying our stay. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time at The Americana with our three daughters and their families. We had children ranging in age from 16 months to 15 years. We cooked most of our meals there so we really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and large appliances. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and blankets to accommodate our entire group. My grandchildren love to play games and there was a wide assortment for them to choose from. The backyard was fabulous for anyone bringing children. The younger children spent hours playing on the large playground structure. Of course the zip-line was their favorite. The entire family enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings making s’mores and enjoying the beautiful weather. The hot-tub was also a favorite of young and old alike. My 6-year old granddaughter asked me if we had to leave and her cousins chimed in with the same question. When I explained that we had to go back to our own homes she asked if she could please spend her birthday again next year at the cabin. Needless to say we made some wonderful family memories that will be with us forever.! Thank you Stephen and Sara for being such excellent hosts and sharing your lovely home with us!!

Perfect Hochatown Getaway!

This is by far one of the best rentals we’ve ever stayed in! Sara and Stephen are wonderful hosts- responsive, helpful, and so thoughtful about every detail a guest might need. The perfect setting, inside and out!

The Americana was the perfect getaway for our family to step back and relax both in and out of the cabin. This home may be one of the best set-ups we’ve stayed at in terms of having enough comfortable beds, dinner table space, and outdoor furniture/ activities. With enough rooms for our four couples and a bunk room in the loft, this is a home our family can continue to grow into. Stephen and Sara have captured family time in their home, and they were truly the best hosts- so quick to respond and take care of any concerns we had as well as friendly and full of helpful information about the area. We would definitely stay with them again!

Great stay at the Americana

Really enjoyed our stay at the Americana. Everything was great from beginning to end. Very roomy with a large table for us to eat and play games. Plenty of bedroom/bath space and the upper floor was great for our kids to hang out. Location was close to Hochatown and the lake so very convenient. Would definitely recommend!
