"Really lovely, warm welcome from the man on reception! The apartment was basic but just what we needed, and bought back some very nostalgic feelings from UK holidays I'd had as a child! Only slight critique would be that the bathroom, especially round the bath and tiles, needs some love as it looks very tired and a little damaged. Great location in a beautiful area, with shops, restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Delicious Indian Restaurant just a few minutes away! We used it as a base for a 2-day trip to Paultons Park, and it was perfect, literally just over a 10 minute drive! All the family slept really well, and we will definitely be back in the future! Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"This was generally a lovely stay. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location with large formal English gardens. But there are certain things that could’ve been better. 1) The aircon wasn’t working in the room we were initially given. I understand this is quite a common problem. Staff were very accommodating and offered us a new room for the next day, but the first night we had to sleep with fans. The next room was better, but aircon still not great. I’d suggest for a 4 star hotel that they prioritise sorting this out. Otherwise they will get an increasing number of complaints. 2) There aren’t enough loungers around the pool. This is easy to resolve and will greatly improve the experience if they add more. Otherwise this is a lovely hotel with good facilities and helpful staff. I raise these points as they are helpful for other people and for management to resolve key things."

"3rd time staying at this wonderful hotel. Lovely, spacious, room with one double and one single bed. Nice sized bathroom, but small shower. However, if that really bothers you, there is good shower in the bath, as well. A yummy selection of food at the breakfast buffet, and gluten free toast available. The pools and gym are nice and clean, the garden is beautiful, and the staff are really friendly."
