"We returned to the hotel after celebrating our wedding ceremony there in 2013. We travelled from Somerset for a Valentines Day night away. We were put in a room just off the lobby/bar/reception. The corridor the room was on was high traffic. Little did we know there was an event on with coach loads of guests coming. We returned from an evening meal to extremely loud live entertainment and the lobby/bar full of people. The noise from the bedroom was loud with people outside the door shouting and swearing. It is quite unbelievable that they expect guests to rest or sleep in a room so close to night entertainment when events are on. We were told by reception that there were no rooms to move us to and so we ended up leaving. We did not want to put ourselves through the torture of enduring it all through the night."

"We had a lovely family holiday staying at this property. The house was in a great location and ideal for the children as the playground is directly opposite. The living room was cosy and we enjoyed the warm fire in there. The kitchen was well equipped, plenty of cups, plates etc. Unfortunately there were no cushions on the couch or kitchen chairs for hygiene purposes, however I think this would have added to the comfort of our stay. My mum is disabled and the downstairs bedroom was ideal. The downstairs shower facilities are separate to the bedroom though and there is a step to get into the shower so she could not use this. Overall we had a great stay and would book again!"
