"As the name implies, it is a clean place to 'crash' for a night or two particularly if you are planning to take in the outdoor activities that Squamish has to offer....you're in the room just to wash up and sleep. The rooms are smaller than your brand name hotel rooms and there was not a dresser with drawers The King bed was very comfortable and each room has pretty much everything you would find in a brand name hotel room though it is a more efficient use of space. Again, because of the efficient use of space, we also found there was a lack of counter space...another shelving option (rather that a wooden box in the corner) would be great . Though the room was quite clean, there were un-washable stains in the bath tub and I think that is simply a function of age and wear-and-tear.
The only significant negative comment has to do with the check in after 5pm (when there is no staff in the lobby). The online check seemed straight forward, but for some reason, I never received the email with instructions to access my room. I did call the number provided and the help was excellent and, though Crash Hotel was never able to send me the email from their account (yes, I checked spam and trash), I did receive an email from one of the staff's personal email and after about 20 minutes, we were able to access our room.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and were quite comfortable though a better 'Plan B' is required when the online check-in system doesn't work as intended."
"Very quiet nights sleep. Amazing view to wake up to. Building and rooms are starting to show their age however. But still kept very clean. Would come back."
"Excellent stay. Prime location for shopping dining and beachcombing. Quiet, cozy and relaxing. Spent more time in the unit than originally planned because of how comfortable it was. Great info. on local trails provided by host."
