The check in experience was terrible. It was a late night arrival flight. We arrived at the hotel at 1am. The main glass door entrance was locked. Though the checkin staff was helping another guest, he saw us waiting outside the entrance and didn’t open the door nor give us signal to wait. It was the guest who opened the door for us! He spoke with a very low voice and we could hardly hear him. Not friendly no smile. Unlike the other day time staff.

The property was in a great location; however lots of construction happening around the area. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Everything was okay except it could have done with a bit more cleaning - there was mould in the sink and shower and stains on the sheets. Overall I would stay here again.

Please aware that this property is using an excessive amount of spraying in the rooms for cleaning its surfaces. In particular, the rooms and bathrooms are not properly ventilated, having no opening windows, and the staff inattentive to these needs, insofar as there being a risk to experiencing headaches, lightheadedness and dizziness. If you are committed to seeking a clean, yet not overly sprayed room with chemicals which can be hazardous to one's health, then there are a few other places in the near vicinity to consider. This would allow you to focus on being able to sleep and breathe easily, and without having your stay impacted upon.

Location and general feel been good. However the facilities and amenities would need to be looked after better. It wasn’t dirty but everything felt cheap, loose and run down. Our smart tv liked to turn off by itself after a few minutes. The shower had unpleasant water stream with high pressure (good) but very fine stream that resulted being slightly painful. The staff been very friendly and accommodating and the location is ideal if you like to be in walking distance to most things fun in Brisbane

Absolute delight!
I’ve tried numerous hotels in Brisbane but staying at Capri is always an absolute delight! It’s got the perfect combination of location, comfort, amenities, and great price. The rooms are quiet, modern, spacious and comfortable. The amenities are first class! I love the 24/7 gym, steam room and sauna that have conveniently located towels and PIN code lockers to store your belongings whilst you relax! It’s close to the botanic gardens, queen street mall, and an easy walk to Eagle street pier or south bank. Don’t worry about trying other hotels. Just stay at Capri!

I love the little kitchenette with a microwave. Other than that, it was like staying in a lovely hotel room. The hallways were a bit worn, but the rooms weren’t. I got an accessible room where the shower curtain didn’t even fully go around the shower area. Which meant a very wet bathroom and toilet. I would ask not to be put in one if I stay again.

Overall the hotel is very nice, somewhat clean. We saw some dirt on the curtain and in the bathroom. The check in was very good and the Filipino lady was nice. She gave me the wine as a VIP rewards. The hotel is close to everything in QLD.

Highly recommended
Capri was a nice find. Right in the center of Brisbane. Steps from the Queen's Mall, the main thoroughfare with lots of restaurants and shopping options. Attentive staff; in fact, they even cleaned our room even if we had the don't disturb sign posted before going out one morning. Exercise room adequate and would have been nicer if steam room was working. Limited breakfast menu but we're not picky so we survived the 2 mornings we were there.

As someone who travels frequently for work, I am always looking for places to stay that provide a friendly, helpful service. Capri is just that. Great location and facilities and the staff are some of the kindest and most helpful I have encountered. A particular mention to Freya at the front desk who welcomes all with a genuine smile and hospitality. Nothing was a problem and her individual approach to guests is hard not to notice. She is definitely in the right industry and deserves recognition for her skill and professionalism in her role at Capri. Thanks for the stay. Whilst short, I will be back again whilst travelling for work.
