Hotel is a little tired but clean and the staff are really helpful. The car park is very tight. The breakfast was nice and the bed was comfy even though our room had no air con and a broken window.

Everything was good, apart from no functional aircon on one of the hottest weekends. Reported immediately, but not fixed, so had to sleep with window open. Which was very noisy. Staff couldnt care less when i reported it again at checkout.

Lovely stay

Staffs are professional and friendly. They explained all the facilities to me clearly. The hotel is located at the side of the beach, so it is easy to access the scenery of Brighton.

Fantastic hotel - helpful and happy staff!

Lovely 2 night stay - perfect location right on the sea front by i360. 15 min stroll into town and the pier. Hotel was so clean, refurbing one of the lifts so only one in use but that was fine. Never stayed in a hotel with such lovely and pleasant staff! Everyone is so helpful and happy Got upgraded on arrival to a side sea view which was a really nice surprise. Breakfast really nice too - good selection. Definitely stay here again when in Brighton

The location was great at the seafront, close to Brighton Railway Station and Highways. Although my room was fully paid in advance and I submitted the receipt, the Receptionist asked to pay for the room. I asked her to double check and by the help of another Receptionist things became okay. Probably she was not trained properly. Another incident happened on the second day - the ceiling at the entrance of the room leaked heavily. I informed, but was not given another room or any refund. Breakfast was basic, just typical English Breakfast. I also tried other restaurants of the hotel and I wished there were more food choices. The Lift was rattling.There was no Concierge service or help with Taxi, booking tours, etc. I stayed in other Holiday Inn hotels with great services. I hope some renovations will be done including better guest services in future.

Overall experience was good

Overall experience was good. Only let down was having one lift available, as the other was having maintenance done. Room was a little tired. Balcony was a bonus, although a massive crack in the floor could do with filling to smooth over. A walk in shower instead of a bath may have enhanced the overall experience. Big cues at reception on check out day and fairly slow staff stopped this being rated as excellent unfortunately
