Camelia Place is the ideal holiday accommodation for a small group that wish to be super close to town and almost right on the rail trail.
This property is managed on behalf of the owner by Bright Holidays (part of the Dickens Real Estate group).
BEDDING CONFIGURATION (Sleeps a maximum of 4 people) Bedroom 1 - Queen bed Bedroom 2 - Two single beds
All linen and towels are provided.
KITCHEN & DINING The kitchen features electric stove and oven with fridge/freezer and dishwasher and is well equipped with all you will need. The dining table seats six and is located in the lounge.
LOUNGE The lounge features a two seater lounge and two armchairs, a TV with integrated DVD player and a combustion fire. A selection of DVDs are provided.
There is no WIFI at this property.
HEATING & COOLING The lounge room features a combustion fire to keep you cosy and warm during winter and a large split system to keep you cool in summer. Please note this property does not supply firewood, it can be purchased at the local supermarket or service stations.
BATHROOM The bathroom has a shower with separate bath and vanity. The toilet is separate.
OUTDOORS The small grassy backyard features a gas BBQ and outdoor setting.

The property is exactly what we needed. Something that was close to town and walking distance to all, whilst being warm and comfortable. For the price we paid, it felt it was great value for money. Check in was seamless, and all communications had with the accom provider was effortless.
My family and I stayed 3 nights in this quiet and covenient stay, with only a short walk to Bright's main street. The place has simple yet adequate facilities, and found it clean and tidy on arrival. However, all the mattresses need replacing, particularly the main bedroom. We rotated it, we flipped it, but it was so tired and sunk so badly in the middle we propped it up with additional pillows in an attempt to even it out. Needless to say, we slept terribly which took away the idea of a relaxing break.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is very central, it is neat and clean an comfortable. It was spacious enough for our family of four. The only complaint/feedback I would give is that the queen bed mattress has lost its life and is not very comfortable. It most definitely needs an upgrade, I can see other reviews have raised the same issue. Would the owners consider replacing the queen mattress for a completely comfortable stay for guests?
This property was lovely and clean, great amenities. The beds were very comfortable and heating was great. It was very close to shops , restaurants and supermarkets.
Very close to town in quiet street. Beautiful location with local parrots flying around. Close to restaurants, coffee, supermarket. Terrific warmth with the brilliant fireplace. Cosy!
Fantastic location. Accomodation presented as photographed in the listing. No firewood was supplied as stated which was unfortunate given the weather and the kettle could be upgraded, however overall it was a nice stay.
Nice little house close to city center on a quiet side street
A nice little stand alone home unit that is close to the city centre on a quiet side street. Recently remodeled, fire place, and reasonably stocked kitchen.
This property was very comfortable and had all that we required for our short stay. It was very close to the main street and a major supermarket. The kitchen was well stocked with implements, not that we really needed them and there was a very good washing machine and outside clothesline. We really enjoyed our time there and hope to return next year.
Great location, easy walk to shops & restaurants, very quiet area.
Bed mattress in main bedroom needs upgrading as does the lounge furniture, otherwise good size unit, shower good & kitchen good not that we did any cooking.

Have stayed in this property a few times and it continues to please. Fairly standard but has all the amenities you need and is clean and comfortable. And close to town. Wifi would be a nice addition, but not a deal breaker.

The place was well kept and near the city center. Some things need to be urgently replaced, which are;
-bed mattress
-kettle
-toilet seat too high (ideal for someone tall only)
Apart from these issues all else was perfect!

It was ok. We didn’t get off to a good start, the split system would not work, no wood for the fire. It was a freezing 2 overnight. Found out next day we were to supply the wood, batteries were needed for the split system
1. Bathroom mirrors were too low to see to apply makeup or shave.
2. The bed squeaked and the bedding was old and did not fit; the mattress protector elastic had perished and the sheets were the wrong size and had no fitted sheet - result - sleeping on bunched sheets and part of the mattress. The mattress itself was comfortable though.
3. The bedside clock was old and unplugged from the power socket, most likely because it was impossible to set the correct time.
4. The carport roof is in need of replacement.
But, apart from the above, we enjoyed our stay....
