  • This cottage is ideal for a families or small groups looking to enjoy everything Bright has to offer. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a laundry and a fully equipped kitchen you’ll have everything you need to feel at home here. It’s just over 1km into town, an easy stroll to the many shops, restaurants and cafes of Bright and the very popular splash park and playground on the Ovens River.

    This property is managed on behalf of the owners by Bright Holidays, part of the Dickens Real Estate group.

    The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a feast for the family and friends. Complete with a dishwasher to make cleaning up a breeze! Induction cooktop, electric oven, microwave and full fridge. Dining seating for 6.

    LOUNGEROOM
    Spread out on the comfortable lounge in front the ‘wood fire effect’ gas heater on those chilly winter nights with WIFI and a Smart TV for all your streaming needs.

    The main bathroom consists of a walk in shower, bath and separate toilet.
    The ensuite bathroom consists of a walk in shower and toilet.

    A gas heater in the loungeroom as well as a split system air conditioner for those warmer months. Portable heaters in each bedroom for some extra warmth in the winter.

    OUTDOORS
    Outdoor seating for 6 on the back verandah surrounded by beautiful Camelia trees. Gas BBQ for those summer night cook ups! Lockable shed to store your bikes or ski equipment, along with some extra bike accessories.

    PARKING
    A carport with space for one. Extra vehicles will need to be parked off the complex. The carport has outdoor power points for those with electric vehicles.

Lovely town house

We enjoyed our stay. The house was a good size for 4 adults and 2 children. Beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great location, close to town, quiet area, friendly neighbours and ample parking for two vehicles.

Bright, a beautiful place to stay.

The property is an excellent place to stay, super clean and has everything needed for a very comfortable stay. It was winter but the heating was excellent which made for a comfortable stay.Normally the distance too town would not be a problem but we as had an elderly person with us she found a bit to far for to walk.All in all we would not hesitate to stay again.

It is close to town and in a quiet fourplex. Bit hard to find in the dark but easy in the daytime. Beds and lounge were comfy. Kitchen has everything you need. Dining chairs might benefit from some cushions, but everything else was great.

Spacious place but poor facilities

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were first very happy with the property when we first entered until many more problems reveal itself. 1. Very poor pest control. I saw a cockroach in my room the very first night. That was less than one hour we enter the property, we did not bring any food into our rooms. Then there were many more cockroaches in the kitchen, despite we didn't leave any food scraps on the bench. 2. Poor hot water system. We had four people together in the property. There wasn't enough hot water for four of us. The third had to shower with ice-cold water after 2 minutes in. We didn't even take long showers at all. This is the first time i have had this problem without any warning from the host. And I've stayed at multiple properties at the towns around snow mountains where heater and hot water is very important. 3. The electrical stove didn't work for the pots provided. We stayed there for 3 nights, sent out an email asking about the stove on the first night (Friday), never got a reply till to date. I can't imagine there is no staff at all over the weekend to solve the matter as this is a holiday property. We couldn't cook for the whole trip and had to pay extra for dinner.4. There were portable heaters in each of the 3 rooms, only two of them worked. We were lucky that we didn't need all three during our stay. Despite this's property good location, i would not recommend it at all until pest control is done thourougly and replaced the heater and hot water system.
