"A wonderful place to stay. Great amenities, location to the beaches, food options on and within walking distance of the resort. Very friendly staff. Our only complaint was the cleaning staff must have forgotten to finish our room after our first night. The beds were made but towels, washcloths, coffee, paper coffee cups, and tissues were not replaced. We didn’t notice until the morning and it was too late to get them to bring replacements. Since we were only there two nights, we don’t know if it was just a mistake or if they only replace them on request. "

"Room was clean, staff so kind and welcoming. But the moment I opened the door to my room and saw my view, my jaw dropped and I was giddy! As a single female, I felt very safe here. Tons of food options in very close proximity. But hearing the waves and seeing them all night was amaxing. Highly recommended. But keep in mind, this is not a new hotel but one filled with charm and unbelievable views and proximity to the beach."

"We loved our stay at the Seabird!! We are locals and were here one night for my husband's 50th birthday. They comped our parking for the occasion and gave us a free glass of champagne at check in - great start! They also decorated our room with a Happy Birthday sign, balloons, and other decor. The hotel lobby is beachy, relaxing, and decorated with fun, whimsical art, plus at least 6 Christmas trees for the holidays. I loved the calm library room and enjoyed the gym. My husband had a very nice massage at the spa and said it was the most relaxed he'd been in a while. :-) It's great being able to walk across the street to the beach, the boardwalk, and the pier, plus the cool restaurants and bars on Mission Ave. It's also a very short drive to some great restaurants in downtown Carlsbad. We didn't have our kids with us, but they also have a kids play room, a pool table in the commons area, and a nice pool with jacuzzi. It's clean, beautiful, and the staff was all very friendly and professional. Would definitely stay here again!! "
