"Buffet breakfast was good. Tea and coffee available at any time was good. Location was very good."

"Hotel within 3 minutes walk of main historic sites. Nice clean room, very pleasant and helpful staff, good continental breakfast in nice setting. Car park was absolutely fine for our stay and hotel permitted us to leave our car while we visites the museum the following day. No restaurant at hotel but a reasonable choice within less than 5 minutes walk. Overall, very satisfied."

"Everything was great very nice. Only issue was that we had no hot water to shower the morning we left, which ironically enough is exactly why we booked them because of a hot water issue at another facility. As we left they told us it was fixed and we could use it but we were already packed up and had plans/timetables for the day. Otherwise it was a great place to stay."

"The house was perfect for our family group celebrating my 60th birthday. It was exactly as described , spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Pool lovely and warm and kitchen very well equipped. Marion was a superb host and very responsive to any questions we had. Beds really comfortable. Easy walk into the centre of Valognes. We would definitely book again. Emma Raikes "

"This classic French Chateau in a beautiful setting offers a small number of elegant rooms. Breakfast was fabulous. Our host Francois was really kind and considerate. A perfect stay just 30 mins from Cherbourg. Don't miss the opportunity to take dinner at nearby Le Bistro D'henry. Their cuisine is outstanding! "
