"Stunning hotel with an amazing location. Only slight downside is the small interaction we had with the hotel staff was blunt and bordering on rude. The spa was also closed but this was not communicated at check in. May seem harsh on the review, as the stay otherwise was fantastic. "I was really surprised by how good this hotel was, really good condition, nice location, super comfy bed, kitchen facilities in room, good shower. The breakfast buffet was really tasty, good eggs and sausage. In the evening the restaurant serves really good food at a decent price, and the beer and service is good. Staff were fun, helpful and professional. Local environment is quiet, the local town a 15 minute walk, but its an easy and safe walk, and worth it as there are a couple of bars...

"The hotel is in the middle of a forest we booked it because it said there was a good restaurant. No! It was closed. According to them due to a party but there was no one else there. We asked if they could recommend a restaurant - after repeated request they suggested one. They should not take bookings if the restaurant is closed. There is nothing near by. I saw another guest had the same experience - so is the restaurant ever open??? Or just in the announcement to get guests? "
