Clean but Restaurant Closed and No Drink in Room

We stayed for one night. Unfortunately after a 6 hour drive we arrived to find no one at reception. Waited 5 minutes and someone arrived. The restaurant we were told would be closed ao we had to go driving around to find something to eat after driving all day. Everywhere close by was closed so we had to travel further out to find something. Alsp no tea or coffee in the room. So nothing to drink after travelling all day. Other than that the hotel was picturesque. Breakfast the next morning was ok. Eggs were cold but everything else was fine. Room was nice and clean and hotel nice and quiet. Would have been much better if the restaurant had been open and something to drink inside the room.

Fantastisk hotel

Restauranten er fyldt med lokale hver aften, så husk at reservere bord, så du kan få noget af den lækre mad. Hotellet er under renovation, men der var ingen håndværkere de to dage vi var der. Der er meget rent og sengene er yderst komfortable. Personalet er alle meget søde og behagelige.

Udmærket hotel i rolige, naturlige omgivelser.

Fint og rent hotel i landlige omgivelser i bjergene. Rigtig god mad i hyggelig, rustik restaurant med terrasse. Roligt sted. Eneste klage: Dårlige hovedpuder.

Great place to stay in Harzen

I can highly recommend this place 😀 Rooms and beds are nice and clean. Great service by the staff. Good breakfast and coffe! Hotel is located in a very quiet neighborhood with good parking.

Echt een super verblijf gehad, ontbijt was goed, iedere avond heerlijk gegeten. Ook de bedden waren erg goed, iedere dag word de kamer schoongemaakt. Kortom, een aanrader.

Great place to stay..!

A wonderful hotel set in a wonderful village. A little dated in terms of decor BUT overwhelming a nice place to stay. Staff always great AND I had my evening meal in the restaurant EVERY night - the food was traditional & the best in the last year I’ve spent in Germany. All at a very affordable price. Thank you.
