Step outside and instantly embark on a trip up Pen y Fan (5 miles), the national park’s highest and most impressive mountain. Those who prefer to while away an afternoon fishing can frequent the local River Usk (1 mile) or the Usk Reservoir (13 miles) for brown trout and fresh salmon, ideal for bringing home for supper. And a trip to Brecon itself is a must, with its pubs, restaurants and museums providing a pleasant afternoon out.
Pull up to the bungalow and instantly admire the view, with bright green rolling hills surrounding you, before climbing up the steps to go inside. These views can be enjoyed even in colder weather, with the indoor sunroom boasting comfortable seating for curling up and looking out the windows.
